hammond sent them on a mission to nasya hoping to rescue some survivors of an attack by the Goa'uld. During the mission, carter was was doing some CPR on a body that a Goa'uld that was hiding in the body of the injured nasyan.

they can get radio signal from the stargate and someone had contacted them saying they were under attack.

i bet the nasyan man who had the gould in him that went in to Carter send the message to Stargate Command it had to be because the Nassyans are primtibe they wouldn't know how to work the Stargat on their planet

the goa'uld that was inside of carter was Jolinar. martouf from the tok'ra had a love relationship with jolinar until she died.
