I can't take credit for it, but I saw one posting on youtube where the person called Teddy's office last week to find out his position on health care, the staffer said he was dead. He told the staffer "I know, but I just like hearing you say that"...priceless. May he rest in peace??? May he burn in hell!!!!

Very well put, nice dedication posting to him. My mom and I cried upon hearing news this morning that he had passed and hearing all the many wonderful things people had to say about him. He not only did all those things you mentioned while in the Senate, but seemed to have won his battle over alcoholism, and really was a rock for his family when both of his brothers were murdered. I have no doubt he has a sure ticket to heaven.

I might be only 19 years old, but i understand who we was and what he represented and did. I had and will always have the utmost respect for that man and he will be greatly missed. I thankfully had the pleasure of meeting Eunice Kennedy Shriver a few times over the past few years but unfortunately never got to meet Ted.

Ted's endorsement of Obama certainly changed things last year - but at this moment what I prefer to remember from 2008 was his strength and bravery in delivering that speech at the convention, against doctor's orders. Now we just have to hope that whatever health care reform finally looks like, that the final bill is worthy to bear his name.
