  • raw Parsnip contains a natural toxin, so it's not a great choice to eat raw...

  • All vegetation contain natural toxins to rpotect themselves from extinction.

  • What else do they do? You can get the same effect with a paring knife.

    However I think you can do all this with the mandoline only : turnip ravioli shell without having a hole in it, zuchini pasta just by laying down and sliding the zucchini on the grater with the bigger holes, as for angel pasta, you can use a veggie peeler or a chef knife to make a long ribbon out of the turnip, then roll it up and slice it Japanese style.

    Your appliances are cool but it would be nice to show how to do without them ;o)
