I'm thinking about buying this lens from amazon for $129 tonight. I already have the telephoto lens that I paid $200 for when it was brand new. Is this lens really worth it, or is the Sony $50 37mm lens a better deal? I'm guessing the difference is in the clarity of the glass or something like that.
@t99ekio Hi sorry for the late response, this conversion lens has no thread to mount a protective filter. Maybe there is a clip on version? I have no idea sorry.
I tried this lens at B&H last week and it IS a zoom-through lens. This is not just an inexpensive "lens cap" that you cannot use zoom -- I tried one of those at B&H while I was there.
Is this wide lens compatible with V1U?

Can you see any deterioration of 1080 video from the source after attaching this lens? When did you get it. There are virtually no reviews on this.

This lens is advertised as a "quick attach mount" What is that? Will it fit on a 37mm screw mount filter thread?
