  • @LiamjONeil95 Sounds like a "C"

  • @LiamjONeil95 in fact it's a "A"

  • What harmonica did you use in this video? please answer fast! thanks!!

  • More "air" sound than notes! Needs work. Don't quit that day job iron-jaw LOL!

  • On what "canal?" is playing this LOW tone on 0:38? when i say "canal" you know what i mean.. i dont know how to say.. which "whole" in harmonica ;)

  • @XTwittyX it´s hole 2 draw bend a whole step

  • Woah! I just realized that was only 1 minute 50 seconds. It felt long and sweet.

  • killer jammin. very well done

  • like this alot !!!

  • I think i'm gettin bored listening the same old 12 bar blues post-war stuff, i think pre-war artist were more original and rich in harmony like Chicken wilson & Skeeter Hinton.

  • LO HACEN MUY, SALUDOS DESDE VENEZUELA

  • =D this is great!!!

  • MY GOD THAT WAS EPIC

  • theyre dressed like geeks lol

  • 45 people are hit by a train.

  • Great Job.

  • You brothers got the blues best of luck on all your endeavors.

  • TRAIN COMES OUT OF NO WHERE!!!!

  • it`s cool i yust gett a guitat end a harmonica for my son b nice if we can play like u

  • It´s an Ovation, isn´t it?

I´ve got the same one :D

  • TRAIN!!!! BEHIND YOU!!!

  • just some good ol blues...i love it

  • nice guys!

  • good stuff

  • I want to play the guitar together.

  • What key is that harp man?

  • @aicnemed Drop F sharp

  • Nice tuneage and great scenic video!

  • @Kudzaiofficial well what i meant to say is that u have a very simple approach which is great to build on but you really need to learn after guys like james cotton, sonny terry, and even some chromatic harmonica players like stevie wonder. Hardest thing to do for any harmonica guy is play by yourself and practice new rythms. Also try to use different harmonicas. The honer special 20 is one that is great for bends, blues harps like lee oscars are great for rythm and chugs but keep on it.

  • you need more practice blues harp man...study sunny terry

  • its videos like this that keep me practicing with my harp to get better and better

  • very good man , awesome :)

  • Well done

  • what key of harp are u using?

  • Jagga-Jagga Shuu shuuuu BANG :D Great jam! Garatulaion :)

  • Great train blues!!

  • best video ever. playing blues on a old railway in the woods is just bad ass

  • "Blues Harmonica Player " is the worldwide stage for Blues harp players to share their videos and ideas. We need guys like you who can play, upload your videos, help manage our forums, and be part of a movement that will go worldwide which will be backed by some of the best blues players we can find. Join us on Facebook.

  • No, this is a good place to play, kids go play on railroad tracks! (don't really, unless your smart, not a good idea.)

  • Hey, guys! Fantastic scenery for a melancholic blues jam. Great skills, but the guitar could be a little louder and... stronger, you know what I mean. But it's all right, keep on playing 'cause you're doing it right!

  • very nice n excellent!!

  • imagine if they both just got nailed by a train and the camera just kept filiming for 10 minutes.

  • @dvsskate310 why?

  • this is awesome !

  • this is awesome !

  • Excellent. Thanks for posting.

  • i love this special kind of music :)

i'm going to buy my first blues harp by tomorrow. i hope i'll get the idea of how this works.

    great job!!!!!

  • @DarkwingBoing 1st off it has to come from your SOUl...Not a quesstion of "if it works"

  • @dustyflair yes of course, it has to, but my hands not able to do what my soul wants them to... i think i have to pull the plug off my head and then strat to play musik only with my soul xD

but i don't know how to pull that fuckin' plugg xD (...yet)

  • @DarkwingBoing If you want to play the blues you have to be the blues. Lose your girl, dog, car and job all in one day THEN play the blues. You will FEEL the difference.

  • @dustyflair so i have just to wait for some realy bad times ;)

let's give it a try xD

Come on girl, leave me!!! xD

  • Blues perfeito gaita e violao uhauuuuuuuu demaiissssssss

  • great!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sweet railroad blues!

  • The Train Is Comin'

    And The Blues Are There!

    Thanks!

  • men this is sick!

  • I heard this before! It is called "I just craped my pants in the rain."

  • this is a sweet jam man, bloody good listen!

  • couldnt you have found a safer place to play , for all the kids watching this is not advised playing on a rail track...lol

    You deserve it.

  • This is just good old Blues Harp and guitar at its best!

  • Omg this is so great! :) Nice work..

Btw im a beginer.. i just learned to bend a little :) i would like to learn this.

Can you add tabs or something that would be so greatfull.. ^^ :D PLS

  • ooooowww..... amazing man.... really cool... that's the kind of tricks i'm trying to learn by myself with my harmonica in C...

here in brazil is a little dificult to find armonica teachers... and when we find they charge a high price for us...

  • WATCH THE TRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH FUCK! :´(

  • On a very personal note: I just had a very sad reuion with someone I loved more than life itself. We parted company with me being confused and very very sd. And

then I saw your reponse to my comment here (are you still following me, lol?). I played this video again, and hearing the music, now have a more positive yet instrospective attitude. I feel this man! Boy do I ever feel this now! Helps me cope. :-(

This is what the Blues is all about. :-]

  • ha, that looks identical to where me and my freinds go to jam. i live in north florida and we walk down the train tracks and into the woods where we build a makeshift house and we jam.

  • they are good enough to keep rythm with a train

  • Absolutely brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • magnificent!

  • Great.....

  • Now thats what im talking about, "Woman bring my bottle of whiskey!!!" oh yeah! haha. Awesome stuff guys.

  • Look out for that TRAIN!!!!!!

  • great sound

  • buen sonido

  • niiiiiiiiiiice

  • is it possible to give more than 5 stars? I would like to do that

  • Bravo!

  • Sweet!

  • this is really good thanks for sharing it with us :)

  • sometimes when i walk on train tracks i just feel like jammin......

  • owow....congratulations!!!...perfect!!

  • Actually it's not. It's the real deal, mosquitos and all the other flying creatures that muggy Aug. day.

  • lol soz

  • @resojoe haha righhtttt. There was no breeze and everything in the background was still. i am sure that is "real" alright.

  • Who cares?

  • @brokentoedspoon ha it does look fake huh

  • @brokentoedspoon

    gake and fay

  • @brokentoedspoon lol it DOES look fake...but i don't see the need to go to all the trouble, faking a background, to play good music. :)

  • @TedOfNod What´s your problem? They are waiting for the 2:19 train to Chicago... while playing. They will be successful!

  • nice

  • Awesome, only comment is the Ovation...not the best guy for the blues.

  • Buenisimo!!!!!

  • This is beautifull, Keep on with the blues, you are really amazing guys...Thanks

  • What is the recommended key of a harmonica for playing this type of music? anyone?

  • if the melody is in A then a D harp works well, if its G then a C harp sounds good and vice versa for both.

  • Hi I'm playing an "A" harmonica in 2nd position (crossharp). The guitar player is in Key of E. Generally, the popular keys for blues songs are E, A, D, and G. so you would use A, D, G, and C harmonicas played cross harp.

    thanks for watching.

  • I like the Blind Owl's blues harp playing from vintage Canned Heat.

  • Is one supposed to inhale, exhale or both into the instrument to get the right sound?

  • You both Inhale and exhale to create different notes.

  • @busterbone yes u inhale and exhale at the same time... very difficult to learn.

  • because musicians just walk up and down railroads and stop randomly to play blues tunes.

    its good

  • @yogurtpimp LOLOL! Now THAT'S funny! And this is good. real good. Just don't play so loud that y'all can't hear an oncoming train, because I want to hear more of this,

Your act is definitely not a train wreck .:-)

  • @Upritebass , Thanks! These tracks are abandoned so no trains comin'. Hope to do more soon.

  • @Upritebass you can abviously see that it's been playen on a green screen xD

  • good job... on the guitar

  • @19KyzerSosa75 harsh...

  • Classic railway scenario...ha haaa...great

  • 5* for you!

  • aw man nice bending

  • That´s really cool!!!

    Good music and good musicians!

  • from a french guy ! marvelous !!

  • This is fantastic.

I've just picked up a harmonica and was wondering if you could give me any pointers on where to start?

    Cheers, Gregor.

  • That's a question that could take hours to answer! Probably your best bet is to take a look around at all the great harmonica instructional videos here on youtube and there are many to keep you going. Also, stop by my harmonica website linked in the info box to the right and have a look around there.

    Thanks for watching!

  • I have got blues harp in A with 10 notes, wonder, if anything like Yours? will try to learn something to play with it.

It is cool to have small instrument and go anywhere with it and play in a small minutes of time when guitar or piano isn't near :) to have a music in my pocket :)

  • i like yalls style man

    i really dig it

  • Thanks for watching!

  • great video is the guitar in regular tuning?

  • This was lame for no reason

  • that was really cool. reminds me of neil young

  • Dude! I just picked up the harp and I've been looking at videos to get a good idea of blues harmonica and I came across this and the guy has the same ovation I do, and I think the harp player has the same key I do

  • A harp played cross-harp in E

  • looks like a green screen

  • It would have saved us from all the mosquitoes if it was!

  • oh man! what music you played!!!

its sound really cool...i mean it!!!

  • if only people like you could get as much cash aboard for making real classic blues music as those shitty plastic pop "musicians" the youth gets bombarded with today i know you properly dont make music for the dollars but it still seems kinda unfair´to me

  • Thanks for the kind words Lenny. We play for the fun of playing and make a little here and there from my harmonica store.

Anyway, I think we have more fun!

Glad you liked it. the warm weather is here so maybe we can get out and make some more videos.
