8psi would be about right to save your trans. Don't go over that, and get boost by gear.

I like how aggressive ur car sounds especially from THE INSIDE!! haha. 450 is alot of power, and is a really impressive achievement. i dont like the windows being open because its distracting to listen to. but overall great vid and i enjoyed it. money well spent to a car you enjoy driving. i hate people who talk shit about people wasting money on "these" kinds of car. people are forgetting about the essence in this sport;enjoying what you drive and do.

@captmorganman LOL, first it's called boost by gear that mitigates the wheel spin. and no it doesn't mean work out tires, i havent had any problems with my tire wear since i've been turboed for about 8 months. also the clutch is in near perfect health since i am using a competition stage 4 set up. also i have never gotten a ticket in my 8 years of driving.... also explain how my insurance would go up? and name the parts that have been broken?

So, heres a question for you guys. My FA5's warranty is almost expired and Im looking into where Im going to take it as far as performance mods. Im pondering NA vs FI.

Do you have to change pistons if going to a FI set-up? The K20's compression ratio is 11 to 1...most FI engines I've seen have around 8-9.

Hmmm. I guess I don't understand the purpose of a street-driven FF car with 450hp. A techno-marvel, and certainly not beating up the hard effort put into it. But it would just seem that understeer is a monster, and would rob a lot of joy when roads aren't straight.  I dunno, I'm a BMW driver and haven't driven FF since college in '97. But I'm sure much has changed to make FF cars handle better with high HP (or so I hope). However, to each his own. Very nice vehicle! :^)

This is a valid point, the car isn't driven on curvy roads at all.(flat roads in texas) as for my car it handles fairly well with the small suspension modifications that are done with it.

the goal for this car was going down the 1320, or more or less just physically pushing the k series to its limits. if we would have had a bigger turbo i would have turned up the boost even more.

Ide rather do a ct engineering supercharger, more reliable for FF cars and about 3500 for the kit plus intake, header, exhaust, depending on the ones you choose your looking at over 350whp for close to 5 grand

yup, pretty safe... hell if we had a bigger turbo i would have pushed more through it... honestly about saving money, it depends on how you see it.. you would prob never see more than 300whp all motor, dollar per dollar this is the best way to go

yes sir, the video is lacking quality.. only because the camera mount was vibrating... it was actually shot on a HV20 and is the same camera i have used time and time again on my other videos. i am redoing the camera mount this week so stay tuned!
