  • very awesome!! it makes me violently angry when people hate on someones passion! I have been trying to make dudstep on GB for like a month now and NOTHING ive done comes close to this. @newmindcinema not all of us can afford a $500 to 1k program to make dustep. keep up the good work!!

  • cool effects though. i don't know how to make a lot of those yet.

  • wobble bass could be cleaner

  • wow way better than Skrillex will ever only using Garageband

  • dude, garageband? seriously??

  • Its alright

  • nice job

  • I'm wearing headphones and my chair shook like hell when the bass hit O.O

  • awesome!

  • pretty awesome dude!

  • i want to download it but the youtube mp3 would make there be like 30secods of nothing at the bigining

  • man this ismixed terribly. learn to balance levels eq and compress. or at least turn knobs untill it sounds good. i dont know why you would soil your good name with crap like this

  • @dvdf1000 all you do on everyones page is talk shit and put down peoples music, if you were a real musician you would be able to respect other musicians and what they do, weather its done perfectly or not, everyone starts somewhere, i wouldn't even consider you an artist just based on the fact that you can't respect what anyone else does

  • shit man, i've been sitting here playing with garageband for almost 8 or 9 hours and I still haven't put much together, just a drum line and thats it. Kudos to you man! Live and learn, no?

  • Fucking awesome, If you don't mind me saying.

  • @NOAHROCK10 dat fish cray

    :crayfish:

  • dat shit cray

  • O_O

  • o____o o____oo____o

  • there was no hardcore drop so to me it sucks. it could of been really good :(

  • Kudos and all that jazz. But this is so generic and that mid range sounds so standard. Take it you're using massive?

Maybe it's just me, but I hate how dubstep has progressed over the years, with the emergence of that post dubstep midrange power tool noise.

That being said, nice range on the sub. But maybe get more presence on the drums for more oomph. Invest in the Transient Shaper by Schaack Studios. Really brings your drums alive.

  • downloaded and saved on ipod and i also liked and subscribed with a share

  • woah, bass is way too loud

  • I hate to say this but please check out my dubstep...

  • that shit cray

  • thanks ill order an imac now then

  • where can i download this?!

  • Song starts at 0:33

  • nyc one i lyk it

  • fucking epic

  • ill buy it

  • auto filter?

  • If anyone is interested check out a few tracks I made on my channel and tell me what you think.

  • so ya can do this from whats preloaded in garageband or have to buy more apps...i been using fl 10 on pc but thinking of going to imac response asap please!!!!!!!!!!!! cause fl comes with all the synth sounds n such preloaded

  • @croan08 Yes, GarageBand comes with preloaded synths. You do have to tweak them for a better sound but they are all in there :)

  • @4dMuffin thanks ill order a imac then hope it exports mp3 or wav atleast

  • @croan08 yes it exports mp3 but not wav

  • @4dMuffin thanks but darn app on iphone wont export crap it says export to itunes and ive tried 7 times and they never show up when i sync it ill just export em to gb on imac when order gets here

  • @croan08 Don't get an iMac. It's just a WAY overpriced, locked up version of Ubuntu (which is free).

  • now i don't wanna upload my dubstep anymore

  • holy crap nice bro

  • thats pretty fuckin dope

  • nice song its more beast than mine

  • niceeeee

  • sounds good to me bra

  • @Numlocq

    Haters gonna hate.

    Potatoes gonna potate.

  • the whole track is just wobble... step isnt about wobble.. but i hope you take this as constructive criticism. in other words way better then what i can do :)

  • @NubetHead You're right, there needs to be a lead melody and a drum beat, but more traditional dubstep basslines ARE JUST wobbles. or 'wub wubs'.

  • Comment removed

  • check out my how to make a skrillex bass in garageband!!!

  • nice track man, would sound awesome if you used a more pro program such as reason or so - really use to use and there is...umm...ways of getting it for free.

respects on the track though but if you used a better DAW you'd be off! it's not about being a famous producer but it would be cool to hear these/you reach your full for potential.

    peace.

  • Yo, good shit man. Props!

  • copy this:

mc monsta beatz - back words (dubstep)

and paste it in the search box.

but this is really good bro, keep it up! holla at me for a collab!

  • @thomas10971

I was wondering that as soon as I heard it

  • I wish i had talent

  • Considering the DAW your're using, this is a pretty solid tune imo.

  • how do you get the wobble bass and dubstep drums? PLEASE SOMEONE REPLY!!!

  • Good use of the Hollywood Edge siren!

  • so this is why i got a sub for my pc...

  • i used to make wub wub songs all the time but then i took an arrow to the knee

  • Fix your clipping tracks , and eq better . but it sounds sick

  • holy shit. well done.

  • Sweet man, nice job, especially with that ambient drop at the beginning!

  • this sucks

  • please check out my channel and tell me your opinion, i'm starting a new channel uploading original tracks and few covered songs using garageband, you don't have to click on my channel but if you are curious then just do. thanks. and spread the word

  • this is awesome

  • Equalizing the track properly will make it sound better, that's all. It just makes it better. Good job tho

  • check mine out, i only have one video but ill be sure to have more coming soon

  • yo this is alright for some nice garageband tracks Ive uploaded several. The stuff after november is when I got logic so everything after that is Logic studio. for real check it out I barely have any views but the music is top notch.

  • HOW DID YOU TURN UP THE POTATOES?..

  • @TheLandonott9 T-The potatoes!?

  • best garageband dub ive heard omg

  • @CH1N1AN

Hey, do you know if it's possible to make a wobble that is shuffled?! (eg. Excision & Datsik "8-Bit Superhero" at just after 1:00)

I can't seem to find a way to be able to manipulate any LFOs in GB... I'm lost.

  • Check out my channel! Everything i've made is on garageband! :)

  • Rating disable causes nothing but anger. If its a shit video, then I can't dislike it. If it's a video as good as this one, I can't thumbs it up. wtf.

  • Thats Fucking Awesome

  • dddaaayyyyymmmmnnnnnn

  • what settings did you have your wobble bass set to? and what effects did you use? I've been trying to get that sound but its never quite there

  • @pittflyin you need to fiddle with the filter settings, make it faster or sower

  • @dtexs04 i know about the automatic filter for the wobble, but what instrument, instrument settings, % reverb, visual hq, etc did you use to get that classic hard bass?

  • @pittflyin Add an automatic filter effect then add an automation to the track (automitic filter speed) play around with that

  • u need to get better at the drop

  • the trick is not to use garage band

  • ...this is abysmal

  • ok... you have GOT to show me how to do that!

  • pretty duke track yo. if you don't mind taking 5 mins to check out my first crack at dubstep, i'd like to get some feedback.. you seem to know what you're doing so any advice would be helpful

  • donald trump dubstep remix :D

  • So GarageBand DOES support production of dubstep. Fuck Yea.

  • @ColonelBolognaJr97 DDDDDUUUUUHHHHHHH u gotta buy the sounds

  • @ColonelBolognaJr97 lol no producers use garage band, ableton or logic

  • @jnflahe no smart minded person would leave such a stupid comment

  • @CH1N1AN He's right in a sense about Garage Band as I've never known anyone producing dubstep on it as their DAW. Totally wrong about Ableton and Logic though.

  • at first it reminded me of donald trump by Mac Miller

  • Nice to know that good music can be made on free tools.

    Thanks fer postin.

  • super :3

  • Tight, nuff said

  • I Do Like it :3 But The wobble bass would use some work, I Know it's Kind of old and I;m sure you've gotten pretty beast by now :D But keep up the good work broski...that reminds me i should upload some of my new shit :D

  • OMG!!!!!

  • I just listened to some of your songs and I really love the kinda basic dubstep feel your tunes give me. And i don't mean basic in a bad way or anything, I just dont like dubstep that is only about ''massive filthy'' etc drops and crazy wobbles, because too often the melody (and when dealing with a remix) original sound is just lost completely.

Keep up the good work, because i like it.

  • is there a way to loop speed automation??!

  • dude i think this is amazing!

  • good track, but youre red lining a couple of tracks, you need to mix it better

  • I like the gloomy atmosphere to it, though it is not even near dubstep, this is more like electronized dub or something.

  • @a1211121121112111 This is dubstep, it's just more like older dubstep. before it got really popular dubstep was pretty minimalistic and typically had the awesome gloomy atmosphere or which you speak. :D It also had less of an emphasis on wobbly bass and big drops. Look up a track by Skream ar another early dubstep artists to know what I'm talking about. It's just as awesome as the newer stuff, but it's awesome in a different way

  • Fuck All Da Haters Braa.Dis Joint Crank I Think Yu Did A Gud Job For Just Using GarageBand

  • Your great man, you should move to better and bigger software, i suggest logic or abelton both great

  • Wow this is really impressive considering you use garageband. Nice work.

  • You really need to Equalise this track properly. It's far too muddy. I don't want to try and put you down or anything, but this really isn't good at all. It's typical free software stuff. What software you use, believe it or not, is very important. Garage band is just for new producers to mess about on and should never be used for releasing tracks

  • @Numlocq i dont mean to be a cunt, but... from what you have released. You should listen to your own words. Look at the date on this. Then go to one of my new tracks and say the same thing? I have and will continue to take into consideration what you wrote. thank you for the comment and time

  • @CH1N1AN I need to listen to my own words? The only thing I said that is even relevant to my music is that you need to EQ the track properly. I don't use garage band and I never plan to. I use Reason and fair enough while it is far from the greatest production software, it kicks the shit out of garage band. Garage band is the sort of thing apple would release as an app for the ipad....

  • @Numlocq im not arguing about it mate. Listen to your own words "You really need to Equalise this track properly" I don't care what software you use. I use logic as well as GB. I have my reason for posting all GB stuff. Im not looking to become some famous producer on youtube. So if my tracks arnt up to speed with other costly software then i couldnt give a toss. Im using a free programme in my free time, just to show some potential of GB. And yes, you can get GB on the ipad, its awesome

  • @CH1N1AN HEY GUYS!

  • @CH1N1AN well done for fighting your ground :D

  • @Numlocq Whats the point having the 'greatest production software' if your creativity is like shit? @CH1N1AN is using whatever he has at that moment and making the best out of it. So in conclusion, it all depends on the individuals' creativity. Yes, Garageband may be slightly limiting his creativity, but look at the end results in the video above, a masterpiece.

  • @SL1DE5TER lol Master peice? It's pants!

  • @Numlocq To be honest, your "dustup" songs are a lot worse than this. At least this one has potential. Your Sweet Child of Dubstep is embarrassing and the solo at the end is way out of tune. It sounds like a cat dying.

  • @SDSup3rCharg3rs Well try listening to the right one then, not the old one that I ain't bothered taking down yet. I never said my dubstep was good. I don't have to be a professional producer to hear dubstep and know what's wrong with it. I offered some constructive advice. That's it. He was clearly on his period when he read it. Again, I never said my dubstep was any good

  • @Numlocq i replied to as civil as possible. I didnt want to be a cunt and tried to offer your criticism back. I really did take into consideration what you said, which is why i told you to listen to my latest songs... then you started personally attacking me by saying i was on my period, slating what i am doing on youtube and the software i use. You should grow up mate. you may not like me or my music for whatever reason. you have said all you need to say... now fuck off

  • @CH1N1AN Your idea of civil and my idea of civil are clearly completely different things. I think you'll find I did actually try and offer a bit of advice by saying that you need to EQ the track but then you just started throwing a hissy fit about it. Yeah, I did slag off the software you use. And why? Because it is a bit of freeware designed for kids who think they are producers. Which just tells me that you are a kid that thinks he is a producer. So get off your period

  • @Numlocq Honestly this is good i tink nd it bein as old as it is im assumin he's alot better dont talk shit until you look at the date it was made >.<

  • @stup1dbassdr0p What the actual FUCK does the age of a track have to do with how good it is? Serious, get back to fucking special school you retard.

  • @Numlocq Are u an idiot? You basically just said wen you start makin music however gud u r wen you FIRST start is as gud as ur gona get da point u jus tried ta make was a FAILURE .

  • @stup1dbassdr0p Ok first of all, no I am not stupid. Second, you really shouldn't insinuate that somebody is stupid when you spell and type everything as stupidly as you do.

Third, I never said that at all. I believe you're the stupid one as you are completely misinterpretating what I said to your own convenience. So on that note, if you have any more wonderful insight for me or anything that actually makes sense, then feel free to share it. If not, then don't even bother replying

  • how do you get the dubstep sounds?

  • from 4.35 sounds a bit like donald trump by mac miller haha

  • This beat sounds amazing Good Job! May i ask how long it took you to make?

  • dubstep is easy once u get the hang of it, and for all of you out there just getting into it, there is a way you can save your custom loops into the loop library

  • can I download this, if not can you send me the .mp3? (Please)

  • holly shit

  • Did you used any Jam packs?

  • Sounds amazinngg on headphones. Eargasmic<3

  • The wobble needs to be more prominent.

  • with a decent sub it would not sound great because clipping sounds like shit no matter how good the song is

  • NYAN NYAN NAYAAUIUGBIGATDCFZ^&FVUTYAXCJGZA&TVUGXTAYXUGZAVZyU(AGZ*IY ..........

  • Dude you make it look easy

  • Nice job man, i tried to make that on my ipad but it was a fail.

  • WUB WUB WUB WUB WUBABABABABABABA WUBWUBWUBWUBWUB WUUUB WUUUB WUUUB WUUUB WWWUUUUUUUUBBBBB!!!!!

    That's what I hear, and it's awesome.

  • hmmm i've got this friend called Pjotr Keja which says he made this song with you. Is that true? He's from the Netherlands.. i dont know where u are from?

  • @jwvaneekelen im in the UK. No he didn't

  • could you send this to me? lol <33

  • Awesome song man. :)

  • it sounds like my sub is having a seizure

  • how on earth did you get your dubstep so good n professional, im new to garage band but i still cant find it ive found a way to get sort of dubstep but no where to the grade your hitting:L can you give me a guide on how to do it please? its really good :) thankyou

  • Funky shenanigans

  • this is sick i have to make a 1min song. i hope its this good lol

  • Dude, you can install Massive in this, you should get it

  • you need to put this on itunes man. i would definately buy it.

  • i only liked the beginning....nothing after

  • man this is pro. Ive been working with GB for about a year now and I just started making dubstep. Only problem is when I change the speed of the alternate filter in one track it doesnt always time it properly and it ends up sounding out of sync, even though the notes are the exact right lenght. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

  • Dude you are really good at this! I love your music! I have one question though...where can I find a free dubstep drumkit like the one you have?? (for garageband of course)

  • nice beat but not fair .... u have an orange track and a blue track ;) keep it green ....

  • @MelossakaEkkinox the different colour tracks are my own samples from garageband that i have taken into different programs. And sum are mine that i have just saved and made into one complete track cause its a pain to make the same drum beat all the time

  • @MelossakaEkkinox you have no idea what you’re talking about

  • @TheSoundDoctors dude .... who the fuck are you? and was i even talking to you?

  • @MelossakaEkkinox im a person who knows what the fuck they’re talking about. actually. so listen jackass. either shut the fuck up or learn a little something about life. DUMB BITCHES GET NO WHERE.

  • Uhmmmm Download Link Please!

  • That is sooo Sick !!! xD

  • this is freakin awesome :)

  • just a little tip, clean your drum beat, it would sound much better with a clear beat ;)

  • sounds great really underestimated garageband

  • nice

  • where do you get those low vibrating tones, the ones that come in after the first measure?

  • dude honestly, why garageband? You would get much better results with better software.. Buy logic pro or something

  • @iverrulthe reason is that Garageband is simple. It has to be the most user friendly music software out and its free! other software like Fruity loops and Logic cost. Along with the cost is the endless hours of not knowing what the hell is going on, also, more time spent having to watch tutorials than actually making anything. Yes, i understand how amazing the stuff that comes out of other programs. But i like to show ppl you can still make a good tune on free software without crying over it lol

  • @CH1N1AN Reaper software is much much much better for that, it's unheard of but it's the best I'd say
