@EZCompadre when you sing into a microphone and it plays loud in the room (could have been a pretty spacey venue) tone spreads and what hes hearing could be right on pitch, so hes probably singing right. also, he always says how hes not big on playing the guitar and singing at the same time, so keep that in mind too. i think it was a great performance

The reason every band sounds different live, is because the cameras are usually shitty, and they are so hyped up over the concert, and they barely get to breathe between playing and communicating with the fans, ADTR is Fucking amazing.

I've produced songs you want the vocals to sound as best as possible so they might use autotune slightly  However when you're putting together a song the vocals for a 4 minute song can literally take an entire day. It's all about getting the tone for each verse and hook exactly right so it's more likely that they just use a lot of hard work in the studio. Frankly I'm not swaying either way, because they're badass regardless.

But I've seen a lot of bands do stuff in albums that they can't come anywhere close to what they can really do. Ever seen AFI live? They are completely horrible. At least Jeremy can carry a tune. And it's not always about how close to the music they are, it's about seeing your favorite band rock out and having hundreds or thousands of people around you rocking out too.
