I have a 9360 same modle used in the video but is from sprint. I have the sim that came with the phone when i bought it, I tryed all these step correcly and it does not work with me. My sim, net, net sub, sp and, corporate are disabled. I pressed mep alt 2 and nothing showed up.I've tryed different ways like mep [alt] 2, mep [alt] 4, mep [hold alt] 2 and, mep [hold alt] 4. like I said nothing shows up. I already have my mep2 code i just need that pop up to show.

@zalpa23 Only way to bypass the user password is to enter the wrong one more then 10 times and the phone will reboort, wipe all personal data and reset.

@rodrigosalad 3G is not affected by unlocking, no network in North America operates on the 3G frequency the phone is compatible with which is why you can only use 2G. Overseas you will be able to use it on 3G.

so when I do MEP(alt)2 it doesnt give me an opportunity to enter an MEP code... i'm also using a mongolian SIM card and it has the SIM card ID number instead of the "no valid SIM". it shows the network as "inactive" but it still shows the phone as roaming with the red triangle at the top and under Mobile Network Provider.  can you offer any help?
