  • This is all I've been about the past few months and have been checking tons of equipment. By far Dell you seem to have superior equipment as well as a real enthusiasm for your product that others don't seem to have or at least show. But recently been put off seeing a few stall videos

  • @BmoneyRnow Yes U-Turn carries all the best gear of all the major brands and models. They only recommend the best and safest gear though. Now yes you will see around youtube people pounding in and doing crazy stuff. Every single death and injury you see on youtube is uncertified gear. Zero people have ever died or even been permanently injured on WPPGA certified equipment. Zero. This is the funnest sport EVER but get WPPGA certified gear for sure. Life & death difference.

  • whats is trim is it like an airplanes trim and cant u do tricks with the engine at max power

  • @justeyFLY1 Hi, this is Rob, Dell's marketing guy. Give him a call at 800-707-2525 so he can best answer any questions.

  • In 1992 near Boulder Colorado I watched a paraglider collapse and spin into the side of a hill. What's changed since then ?

  • @savagecub Technology and methods of safe flight have made leaps and bounds over those years. The guy probably had bad instruction. My students would never end up in that situation. Thanks for the comment!

  • What what happen if I let go? Would it just drop?

  • @Danielkchoi We do "look ma, no hands" flying from time to time - lol. When you get good, you can just weight shift to control the machine.

  • @imasuper0308 Huh...I'm still scared of letting go of the controls >.<

  • Looks likes f f fun..

  • @carot2003 It's not as fun as it looks...... IT'S MUCH BETTER! lol.... If you ever want to come flying with us, just give me us call. We travel all over the States taking people up and doing lessons. Call when you have some time so we can set it up. 800-707-2525. Thanks for the comment and keep in touch!

  • Dell I'm trying to understand what caused the stall you reached an incline position where the paraglider stopped getting lift????

  • 0:35 I would have involuntarily urinated in my trousers.

  • @BuiltandTested LOLOLOL!

  • Pawlak leci #LOL

  • look like in polish spot watch?v=mkRFRZIWPYg&feature=topvideos_news

  • I'm afraid of heights.

  • dammit!! Why do all the fun things have to cost so much money??

  • @fetymann Dude, they are less than a nice ATV or Waverunner. It is one of the cheapest hobbies around. Freaking cool stuff!!

  • @imasuper0308 Almost $8,000 for a Flat Top Super + $3800 for a K2 + everything else.... uugh, that's a lot for the average person without a high enough paying career. Don't suppose there's any used 2011 Ninjas up for sale?

  • @fetymann We have tons of difference options. The Ninja is the best unit on the market with a month long waiting list to buy them. We have lots of different options so if you are serious just give me a call at 800-707-2525. Thanks, Dell

  • @imasuper0308 Thanks! Someday I will, for sure! Though I think I'm going to tackle learning the basics of paragliding first, then play with powered. Fortunately I kinda live near Chelan, WA which hosts a PWC every year in case you didn't know. check it... /watch?v=73Sw0dskPjI

  • Holy crap Dell..... was that a full loop you did towards the end ? Made my butt pucker just watching you. Show off. LOL I've got a ton of MORE questions I want to ask you about the new gear I just bought, but being the gentleman I am (cough, cough) thought I'd wait til Monday so I wouldn't intrude on any of your flying time. Safe and happy flying bud. Talk to ya soon.

  • @nerblebun Feel free to ask questions anytime. We're always here to help and answer emails quite quickly after we land and sometimes even when flying:).

  • how mch would u sell that for not the car but like the jetpack thing

  • @braseldazzle They range from $5700 for the lower end gear to $12,000 for the safest and best quality equipment. They carry everything at u-turn usa and you can contact them at 800-707-2525

  • how much for the entire setup? chute, harness, engine, etc. i just want to know how much money it takes to fly!

  • @xekul The best equipment on the market is about $11,000. We also have lower end gear and or used equipment where we can get the price down to about $5000 or so if you need. Just give me a call if you are serious and I can give you the different options. Thanks, Dell 800-707-2525

  • I looked on your site and is there only one avail? Cima K2?

  • @featheredmusic Yes this is the Cima K2 paraglider. It is the most incredible glider I've flown to date.

  • @imasuper0308 Fantastic! This is def my choice, do u need a different size if you are using a motor?

  • @featheredmusic No it actually works out perfectly because for paragliding you want to be in the weight range and for motoring you want to be just a bit over the weight range so one glider does the perfect job for both sports.

  • @Zulu1380 one of the biggest is that it is the only fully certified and auto stable glider I know of on the market. Then the performance has beaten every DHV 2 I've put it up against so you get way more safety AND performance which is just unheard of. Then it weighs about half as much as other gliders so it is sooooo dang easy to launch and fly. It handles like a dream with beautiful feedback and is even waterproof. I'm a very experienced pilot and it is the glider I fly 95% of the time!!

  • 0:35 flip was dangerous huh.........

  • @pravicpu Not on a K2 it isn't. That glider is ridiculously stupid proof. Safest glider I've ever flown.

  • Great Demo!

  • cool.... I will fly for the first time in about 2 weeks. I have same questions: Can cima k2 fly free ( without the motor)? If yes..., does it have the same performance? and how much does it cost?

  • @notopterus29 Yes the K2 is awesome for both motoring and free flight. No other glider even close to it's class will beat it. The K2 is $3800 for the standard sizes. The K2 is also auto stable and half the weight of the older technology gliders. I sell over 200 makes & models of gliders and nothing can even come close to the K2 right now.

  • I'll have to check this glider out! It's almost too much to believe! Thanks for showing this!

  • @VaeVictis122 For sure it is too good to be true. No way would I believe it if I hadn't flown it. The K2 is crazy awesome waaaay too good to be true. You totally have to try one to really believe it. Better than DHV 2 performance, better than DHV 1 safety. Plus it launches so ridiculously easy it makes the sport a whole new level of cool. The K2 is simply unbelievable until you try it and see it really is everything people say it is. Simply amazing. Soooo dang fun!!!!

  • I'm not a glider yet, just a simple questions ,can you, once high and stable use your hands for , lets say, use a camera or smoke a cigarette?

  • Yes no problem. You can fly completely hands free, especially with the new Flat Top weight shift kit that would allow you to turn very well just by leaning so your hands would be completely free and you could still completely control the aircraft.

  • SMOKE A CIGARETTE ?!?!?!?!?!!

Sure, it's a great idea to smoke when you're going into an apparent 20 knot wind, especially with a gas tank strapped to your ass and a fuel line running right by your ear.

    Light up! Enjoy!

Just be sure you have a friend with a video camera so we can watch hot ashes being blown into your eyes and a flaming canopy falling from the sky.

  • 280 miles. Nice sounds like a blast! How long did it take you? altitude? What gear did you use? I think you should try 10 gallons next time. Or the trike with a 30 gallon tank. Thats only 240lbs of gas. Go for it!

  • 7 hours and 13 minutes. At one point I made 17,000 ft with my motor off just riding a thermal. I flew the Flat Top 200 SUPER and the Airforce comp glider size medium. The legal limit in the US for an ultralight is 5 gallons. Makes for a more difficult record. Instead of just who can carry the most fuel to make distance you must have serious glider skills and fly as much as possible with the motor off. Fun stuff!!!

  • so your saying that you used .07 of a gallon of gasoline per hour for your flight? I find it very very hard to believe you flew 450 kilometers and used only 15 liters of gasoline and flew 7 hours and 13 minutes...at FL170 did you use oxygen? Where can i find this record posted?

  • @kinggtupper Yes that is exactly why it is sooo incredible. You can see the record on the wpsda website. I've never heard of anyone even coming close to this record. Not even by half. Flat Top baby!! Well... and SUPERDELL skills:).

  • sounds fun

  • Fun?? It was freaking AWESOME!!!! You totally have to try this! It is so dang much fun it will put a smile on your face that touches in the back of your head. Booyaaaa!!

  • Hi Dell! How about India? Are you also the distributor for this region? And how does the K2 handle for reg paragliding? Just started flying and i think i need a couple of months before going up to PPG

  • Yes I can take care of you in India. The K2 is freaking AWESOME for paragliding and paramotoring. This glider is the biggest advancement in the history of the sport. The glide is ridiculous, the handling is perfect, it weighs half of what a typical glider weighs, it is auto stable, hauls butt, and even has incredible safety with the trims at full speed. The K2 is the Holy Grail of gliders for both PG and PPG.

  • Hey, Dell. can you please advise where i can buy this one in Europe. Preferably in Finland or Germany. What is exactly the model name? Thanks in advance.

  • No problem, I am the distributor for your area fine sir so send me a message and I can you fix up in a jiffy. The Flat Top 200 is the unit. My website address is linked in the more info section of this video's information. I'll look forward to hearing from you.

  • what type of flight time do you get on a full tank and what do you think the range is. im looking into ultralight planes but if i cant find training locally it may be better to get one of these.

  • I get 2 - 3 hours on one tank and can add a dual tank in seconds that will double that if I want to fly longer. I set the distance record at 280 miles on 4 gallons of gas. Very slick unit.

  • Can I ask you what you do in life beside paramotoring? heheeh

  • I think I'm gonna go SKY, after Ozone :)

  • Nice Video Dell. Way to put that glider to the test....Sky really makes the most stable glider I have ever flow especially considering how well they perform.

  • You haven't seen anything yet fine sir! This glider is auto stable. Know how in turbulence you have to active pilot your glider? Not any more lol. Not even with the trims maxed out. Freaking wild glider!!

  • all of this with the motor off ? why ? Things would be different under power ?

Would the glider react the same ?

  • We always kill the motor if any major collapse happens so the torque and thrust doesn't affect the recovery. So the motor will always be off.

  • never mind caught the rest of it....my work puter sucks! We should have a TAC computer it would probably still be more up to date!

  • lol yup, totally awesome computers are definitely the stuff. I didn't build any junk.

  • You give me and the rest of your fans ( I know we all want to see) an AWESOME heli and a comment about how it was getting into and recovery from and I will give you $3600 for a glider!!!

Great job, love watching you fly!

  • Come on out, buy a glider and I'll go do a heli for you in person:). 801-631-1731

  • OK, I caught it....Awesome!!! Let's see a heli on the next go round!

  • What kind of acro can you do with this glider...Any Heli, SAT's etc. Or is strictly a non performer dhv1?

  • Didn't you watch the video? I did a switchy SAT with this glider later in the video. Yes you can do all sorts of wild acro with the K2. It is freaking awesome. Extreme safety and stability of a beginner glider but performance of an intermediate to advanced glider. Very incredible. Watch the rest of the video and see.

  • One more thing Dell, can this wing be flown in windier conditions that other wings? And if so, whats the max wind velocity you can fly in for an average pilot? Do you fly your machines regardless of wind speed or advisories? I've got a thousand questions...

  • Yes this glider is one of the fastest if not THE fastest beginner glider out there. Very slick. With trims full out you can easily fly in over 20+ mph wind. For beginners we recommend 12-15mph max. Also if you are in a area with more wind I would recommend getting a size smaller for even more speed and less drag. Call me any time and I'll be happy to answer all your questions. 800-707-2525 Dell

  • Hey Dell,

Great skill and lots of balls! Looks like a blast. My business is suffering due to economy, but when it returns I will be buying a Flat Top 200, and quite possibly this wing. Will I be traveling to Utah for training? I would prefer training from you. Do you teach pilots to fly your machines? Great stuff! Keep it up!

  • Hi, yes you are welcome to come on out man. I'll fix you up with one of my buddies to get you your USHPA P2 paraglider rating and then I'll work with you personally to get you up to speed with the motoring. We'll have a total blast!!! Call me anytime and I can tell you all about it. 800-707-2525. Dell

  • Hey there Dell! i was doing some research on paragliders as im interested in the sport and just had a question. Is it true that you are the only certified dealer of SKY Paragliders products in North America? Also i really enjoy watching you fly, keep it up!

  • Hi, yes I am the sole US importer and distributor. I have about 50 dealers around the country but I am the importer. I'm also the US importer for U-Turn, Icaro and Apco. Then I am also a dealer for pretty much all of the top brands. I do things much differently than others though. I try all the new equipment and then just promote what I feel is the very best. This new Sky glider is the bomb so you can see all my last videos are about it.

  • Impressive! well heres the deal i live in denver CO and am looking to start training within the next year and get myself flying. any suggestions on great schools and/or trainers?

It would be a blast if i could come down and learn from the greatest himself!

  • Hi, yes we have instructors in your area or you are welcome to come directly to me. Perhaps both. Come down for some initial training and then finish up with the local school and keep flying with them for your first months. Give me a call anytime at 800-707-2525. Fun stuff!

  • why doesnt Sky design on the underside of the glider ?

  • This special high tech cloth only comes in a couple colors. The orange and white are the most UV resistant so the K2 only comes in one color scheme. Not sure exactly why they don't do the same orange white pattern on the bottom too. Dang sweet glider though, ya gotta try it!!!

  • Its always great to watch you fly, amazing stuff.

  • Those collapses would scare the SH#T outta me. Don't know if I could handle that. I imagine you carry a back-up 'chute in case of a failure to recover?

  • Yes I always fly with a reserve parachute. In this video I have the new Super Mini Reserve that weighs only 3 lbs. Pretty slick system that even comes with a hook knife and everything.

  • Awesome! Can't wait to fly the small.
