Yes. That was a scene deleted just before release to trim down the show length. You might notice when Bullock is in one of the early scenes, at FBI headquarters, she is still wearing a corsage from the wedding that was never in the film.

Odd that you're called mockingbird1970, when Bullock also played Harper Lee in a film about Truman Capote.
