92% of teenagers have turned to New school and Pop.If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another 5 videos.
@ycaru69 This is fucking stupid. Music changes over the course of time. As a result, each generation of kids will be exposed to a different style of music then the one before them. You think "New School" music sucks because you grew up with biggie smalls and people from the 80's think biggie smalls is fucking stupid because they listened to new wave music. People from the 60's think new wave is stupid because they grew up during the British invasion era of music. Is any of this getting through?
@SamuelNes How dare you post an intelligent comment on youtube. I came on here to berate music that's not part of my generation and then you post this shit. Thanks a lot!!
@ogfunk187 I'm just saying that it's a really good book, It's interesting to see everyones ideas on rapping, it's basically just a book of interviews not so much an actual "HOW TO RAP" book.
music today is missing the SOUL artists had back in the day. all i see on mtv is some bling ass bitch talking how hard it was in the ghetto and how much money he has now.
@kummeliman it's true. i was watching a documetary the other day on reggae and toots hibbert was saying that reggae artists these days have little respect for the message that they're supposed to be conveying. reggae is akin to god.
man i love this music! soul searching muzik! music with a purpose a message! thats the kinda music i love and thats why i stay true to my art and i will continue to be a positive black female floacist! music with a purpose!!!
I think what people mean when they say 'there won't be music like this anymore' is that music reflects the time we live in, and the early 90's was an amazing time to be alive. Life was so chilled and so was the music. Sure, you can still find artists like Arrested Development, Tribe Called Quest etc but it doesn't have the same appeal as the world is now 100mph. Music adjusts to the times, which hasn't worked out to well for HIp Hop imho.
@Teph87 i wanna try n take credit, WHAT DRUGS R U ON? THERE WILL ALWAYS BE MUSIC LIKE THIS AROUND DUMB ASS FUCKER WHITE TRASH THAT U R.. BLACKS CAN SING N DANCE.
Maybe they were singing about life; if you listen to it a few times it sound like a reggae + blue amongst other things; these were two very successful genres to be evolved from the gospel times from when slavery and infdifference were common;(one of the mediums which were used was song, dance and music, I'm sure) maybe there is something in that message; enjoy life while you can-even if it is simple..the music speaks for itself; great memeories of these folks too..
Anyone who says that this crap is better than the music today is completely full of shit. Ordinarily I'm with you guys, but in this case, you are just totally fucking wrong. Arrested Development should have just been 'Arrested' and thrown into labor camps without a trial.
@will12352 Whatever. You must have to be dizzy headed on afrosheen to listen to this. Because if you're clean and sober you know that this music is complete shit.

@daikuarumando You need to look for the Metamorphosis Mix that's 4:55 mins long, the Radio edit is the shorter 3.26 mins version, this video is kinda in between the two.

I remember a long time ago 1992, I was at a BBQ picnic in the park. The DJ played this song about 5 times and we never got tired. We danced our asses off. Ah, memories.
Great song, if only the musicians of today would produce music this good and enjoyable to listen/dance to, other than the cheap beats and annoying melodies of today. Something's gotta give, bring back good music.

Fact is they are listening to it just like us and most are appreciating it.. it doesn't matter if you were alive when this song came out or not. I Have more respect for a kid listening to this song than ppl growing up with it like you and i did, the fact that some kids out there aren't close minded and extend their tastes to music before their time should be encouraged not looked down upon or brushed off as "not being there".
To anyone who says "there will never be music like this again" there will always be music like this. We just wont find it on MTV, or on top 40 radio. Go to local open mics, local jazz clubs, etc. You'll find it.
You got a point. But this means a lot of good songs go "underdog" nowdays. Therefore, I still think "there will never be music like this again" in the market
You have to face a Holy God on Judgment Day(Hebrews 9:27). He counts lust as adultery(Matthew 5:28) and hatred as murder(1 John 3:15). All liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire(Revelation 21:8). No thief will inherit the kingdom of God(1 Corinthians 6:9-11). Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved(John 14:6). YOU MUST REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND SUBMIT TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST TO BE SAVED! THERE'S NO OTHER WAY! There's no second chance after death, so repent NOW! Proverbs 29:1
I have no more hope for the human race, just looking at the media. Jersey shore and new music is killing the souls of people. Some music is good but that is really rare... sad...
I do agree dizzy....real music came frm the heart...now and these days they do it for da money...and its terrible music these days in the hip hop/R&B world....terrible...thats why i still enjoy da good music like this and many more like marvin gaye, teddy P, earth wind & fire, lufa vandross lol and many more...nothin these days can compare to this

Even here on youtube.

Some music is good but that is really rare... sad...
