@NonSilentKiller certain places in the city you need a permit, but you can set up in random places and just busk away til you are asked to leave :)

@Headless425 no foot pedal, but sometimes he would use his foot to adjust the bucket, but he was just tapping his foot in rhythm. I thought the same thing when I watched him and then I saw the whole set up, he gets a lot of sound with the little he uses.

I saw him today at 59th too! I was there when an R train went out of service because of some injured person...

...anyway, I saw this guy play today and he is GODLY. He also had one of the most saturated tip jars :P
