  • お~いえ~編集長 \m/

  • You guys pay a great tribute to Black Sabbath...SYMPTOM OF THE UNIVERSE!!

  • the guitar player lossk like tony iommi a lot

  • Jeez..

  • I saw that. Very COOL.

    Please Keep in touch.

  • Good stuff, check out my Iommi SG handmade by the same man in England that built Tony's.

  • Hello JayDeeSG.

I've checked your Video. Very Cool play and stuff.

I use Gibson SG Standard with Tony Iommi Signature Pick-up and Laney GH-100TI and two 4x12 Cabinets, Booster and Jim Dunlop Crybaby Wah.

Is your SG made by JayDee whoe built Tony's Old SG ?

    Amazing !!!

  • See my another Video as IOMmitani.

  • Yes, John Diggins "Jaydee" guitars handmade my SG. It's the best guitar I own. I also have a Gibson SG supreme and Zakk Wylde custom shop Les Paul. I love my laney as well, what settings do you use on your rig? How long have you been playing?

  • Hello. I use 2 Gibson SG standard. #1 is for tuning D# and #2 is for C#. SG's Rear Pick-ups are changed to Tony Iommi Signatured "Hi-Power" Pick-up. Shield Cable are made by local Electric-Cable-Company. My Setting is very simple. SG -> Jim Dunlop Crybaby -> Korg GT-10 Tuner -> Range Master Full-Range Booster -> BOSS NF-2 -> Earnie Ball Volume Pedal -> LANEY GH-100 TOny Iommi Model with 2 Cabinets(4x12).

BLOOD SABBATH was born in Last summer. We play every month at TOKYO.

  • Do you play by ear, or have you received lessons? Do you use tablature or just learn the songs by ear?

  • Hi! I play by ear. I use PC. I listen Riff and Solo carefully again and again and again, 200-300 times. sometime 500 times (grin). And I watch DVD and chase and check Tony's fingers.

  • Sounds like me :) I study Iommi's fingerings and work to keep the same feel he places on his songs. Great job man, keep staying true to the original!

  • Do you use the ranger booster all the time, or just for solo? Is that the BOSS noise gate pedal you use?

  • Hi, JayDeeSG. It's very important where he place fingers on Flet Board. I use Range-Master Booster all time. They say Mr.Tony Iommi used in 2nd Album "PARANOID".

BOSS NF-2 is just a compact effector.

Did you see my "BLOOD SABBATH feat. IOMmitani" Video ?

    It's fun (grin).

  • Yes, I've seen the video. I currently have the following running on my rig: Jaydee SG > Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah > PODxt Pro (this processor only used for compression and noise supression, digital delays and a little reverb) > then straight into my Laney GH100TI head > Laney 4X12 cabinet. A Fairly simple setup. I do like to play around with long and short delays like Tony use to use on solos in the early 80's.

  • Where do you play usually ?

Every January I stay LA Anaheim for a week, to vist NAMM SHOW. I've heard LA, Westcoast, is the prosperous place of Tribute-Band Live. I eager to play BLACK SABBATH in there(grin).

  • I believe Tony still has a rangemaster treble booster in his rig today, even on the current 2007 tour with Dio. That little box makes a huge impact.

  • Yes I think so too.

About Strings, I use EarnieBall Extra Slinky for both guitars. How about you? Tony's set is veeeeeery thin. I tried past, but I couldn't play well.

  • I use ernie ball super slinky 9-42 on my Jaydee SG, but I use a slightly thicker ernie ball 10-46's on my Les Paul and Gibson SG. I'm trying to find an original Range-Master, but I may have to settle for a clone model that uses the same transistor. As it seems an original Range-Master is hard to find these days.

  • I USE THIS ONE. Check it !

    electroharmonix_co_jp__bsm__rmmetal_!

    YouTube refuse URL (grin).

_ is dot, __ is slash, ! is you know...3 words. no need last l.

They say, this is clone of Original RangeMaster sold around 1965. Transitor is OC44 same as original.

  • Thanks, I've been looking at a local USA made clone called Homebrew Electronics, they make a RM clone that also uses the OC44 transistor. I looked up the BSM RM clone, wow! it's like $300 US dollars. I would love to get one someday. Are you using EL34 power tubes, or have you changed to 6L6's?

  • Yes, It's expensive, but sound is good. I don't imagine not to use it. I don't change tubes. I use EL34.

  • EXCELLENT!

When I interviewed him, I'll show you at Here.

How many guitars did he play ?

I'm looking for Tony Iommi Signature SG.

I can't find it in Japan anymore.

  • I know he played at least two different guitars, one was a white SG.

  • REALLY ? White ? I've never seen before.
