  • โคตรเท่ห์ เลย :)

  • noone can and will ever replace the amazing jerry garcia god bless you rip

  • Wow this is cool. A little sloppy, and Jerry is defiantely far more advanced musically than the other guys at this point but very very cool.

  • one of my favorite band of all time

    I LOVE GRATEFUL DEAD

  • che favoloso reperto storico...i love grateful dead

  • where duz the time go?

  • Are you kind? .....................

  • How does the song go?

  • this version is rough as hell. love it.

  • i mean how couldnt anyone on the planet like the this song let alone a dead fan?? simply amazing every time i hear it!!

  • sublime!

  • That is a fucking awesome light show, and an awesome fucking song!

  • Best live version I've heard I think... Amazing harmonies here!

  • This song made my morning today,

  • this is awesome how i miss them so

  • man I loove these guys

  • 0 dislikes. Only on a Dead song. :)

  • @rsohlich1 My dad's a full-on deadhead with filing cabinets full of dead shows on cassette that I used to listen to on rainy afternoons. Thanks dad!

  • 5:45 minutes before i die i want to listen to this song, then i can go in peace

  • Thanks for this. I'm still buzzing...

  • haha love bob's little smile at round 5

  • come along or go alone hes come to take his children home

  • wow this super headi stuff!!!1 ive seen the light............hes come to take his children home.............

  • Sweet. This was done 16 days after I was born. Whoa.

  • one of the best versions on youtube! the dead are the best, they are having fun, and their harmonies are perfect!

  • I saw Furthur, they aren't the same as with Garcia, but damn they still got the magic

  • terrible quality

  • my alltime favorite grateful dead song too bad jerry garcia died when i was 5 months old (im 15) too bad ill never see them live

  • @yankeesrule009 Too bad I'm not as young as you are! ; )

  • @davidrodgersNJ yeah the only disadvantage is never gettin to see the dead

  • @yankeesrule009 you can still see the other ones, ot the dead. which is all of them without garcia. I understand that garcia was an in disposable part of the band, but if you are a deadhead you ll know that garcia always maintained that he was just one man and not the leader. I love absolutely everything the Dead stands for.

  • @popsucks111 i agree with u 100 percent but i do believe theyll never be the same without garcia

  • @popsucks111

Dark star orchestra is really good even after john left

  • @TheSkyline365 Meh not really. John was the glue.

  • That summer I thought they were the most interesting band on the planet. Looks like young me was right. What a great tune, great performance, and shows how little they depended on studio effects (like not at ALL!).

  • brilliant fucking geniuses 2010 still think goes thru my fingers and mind and kind buddies ;) fire from the eyes

  • I have always loved Phil's singing and I think he keeps getting better. A lot of artists his age have lost a step, not Phil!!!

  • SGs ftw

  • Danke schön, Dawgmusik!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Great early Uncle John's. 1970 was a great year.

  • I forget sometimes how good they really were & are still. Jerry's guitar work on here makes me really lonesome for a good birdsong from that era.. hmm.. :)

  • Bird Song debuted in 71. Check out Three From The Vault from the Capital Theater in Port Chester in Feb of 71. The debut version of Bird Song is from this show as well as Deal. They debuted Greatest Story, Playing in the Band and Wharf Rat the night before and play them for a second time here as well. The previous night was also Mickey's last show until his return in 75.

  • nice, this old school video is amazing!!

  • Greatest band ever...seriously!

  • thank the band and dylan for this track.

  • From the 2:00 mark on the song starts to take it 2 another level of godlyness

  • of course, without bad opinion...they`re great, i`m laying....and what next? some LSD,no i`m trinking now:) greetings for all heads

  • rock on brother

  • @marcelarp I'm continuin your trip now fellow head

  • I remember watching this on Channel 9 when it was broadcast. I was still in high school in 1970. I filmed the image off the TV with a super 8 camera, no audio, of course. Very cool to see this again.

  • Grateful Calebration

    nuff said

  • I love it! Look at those "kids"! :)

  • Song's absolutely amazing!

    Awesome video!

    R.I.P. Jerry

  • The acid kicked in near the end, but the performance was outstanding!

  • with Phil's high harmonies -- awesome - simply awesome. This version is amazing. Thank you!!

  • Yeah it's a shame Phil blew out his voice. Also listen to him on Europe 72. I hate hearing him sing now.

  • @Gossage54 , you're right!

  • fine music, but the video was not the best and was out of sync with the audio - still well worth watching

  • wholesome, genuine, warm, smooth and dead! fuckin wicked!

  • I need a miracle...
