I thought this was a neat way to explain naam. Although some may beg to differ, I think you did an excellent job of introduceing such an complex topic. The depth of this tpoic def. depends on an individuals understanding -- I guess what I mean is naam is to each his own.

My understanding of naam is that, truth is the name.. The name is "Waheguru", or Wonderful Enlighener. It is not God's name but rather his praise. God is nameless [Jaap Sahib], so hence the only truth is in prasing God. Knowing God is not limited to a sound frequency or a 'spiritual frequency'. The true spiritual frequency is of constantly praising God.
