My Russian kale is currently 5" high in thick self-seeded patches, divine to just pluck and chew. No dressing, nothing, just itself.

In a month or so, it will be as nutritious as ever, but a bit boring until the first frost. I can't wait to try this recipe then.

BTW it is very old fashioned to peel carrots. And I would use less honey, but still go for it, great stuff.

As for my accent, it's a mix-up now, what someone affectionately told me was "mid-atlantic". I was born in India, grew up in Dubai and went to a Brit-run school. So it's mostly British, but I've been in the states for more than 10 years now, so it's becoming very Christianne Amanpour. :|
