I think she was cute before, but definetly prettier after. And it's not being a bitch to say that, science says that it's a golden ratio that people automaticly find beautiful, despite whatever preferences they usually have. I do think that people can be pretty naturally, but I as a girl prefer the more polished look :)

I feel sorry for women. Personally, often in life I see natural girls and I think to myself that I should find them beautiful, but I don't. I see so many pictures on the internet and television and everywhere of flawless women that I can't appreciate natural beauty like I did as a teenager. Women who wear a lot of make-up and all that, they look beautiful but fake to me, women who don't cake on the make-up look like real women but they also look boring. Ive been working with photoshop for more than 5 years now... I pretty much learned how to use it by watching a TON of tutorials online. I took a class in high school on photoshop(didn't help much at all). I also just experimented a lot with the tools in photoshop till i would get what i liked.

She's actually a pretty girl, and technically you could have stopped just after getting rid of her spots and the dark circles under her eyes... but yes I do understand you went overboard to demonstrate what Photoshop can do. :)

Professional retouchers usually only make subtle changes to portraits, smoothing the skin, getting rid of spots/lines, neatening the hair, and adding contrast. The amount of face shape changing they do really isn't much at all, if any.

the funny thing is that in real life a lot of this could be done by makeup etc... like fixing her acne and putting on eye makeup. plucking her eyebrows, fixing her hair. i mean the facial rearranging, not so much, but there was already such an improvement when he/she fixed her face and eyes.
