I saw Immortal this year at Wacken and it was amazing, to stand after midnight, in Pitch Black and Just be on a Cruise in Hell. Immortal, Cannibal Corpse and Gojira, was the 3 best bands out of 150. In my taste..And both Slayer, I. Maiden, Soulfly, Unleashed, even Alice Cooper and Mötley Crüe, U name it played this year..

Awesome intro and awesome show. Abbath's reaction as his guitar was wrecked was priceless. Very nice pyros and awesome setlist. Was waiting like 4 and a half hours in front of the stage, but was constantly standing in line 2. Too bad they weren't allowed/didn't play an encore, but nontheless the best band this year with an amount of people watching I simply can't describe!

The Show ended very abrupt, they just left the stage, everyone thought it's much to early to finish and expected them to come out again with an encore (they didnt play Damned in Black so most people were waiting for it) but nothing happened.. after a few minutes the stageworkers came out and we knew it was over... apart of that, as I said: Great show!
