    At the time I didn't realize I would not be able to get the Chevette eng to run right. When I did get it out on the road It was such a guttless wonder that I really had no choice to find another engine. Thats just the way it goes sometimes I suppose :(

  • dude, if i were you, i'd get rid of the spokes. that power unit you have will rip the hubs right out of them!

    Right now I'm ok. The Chevette eng is only rated at 60 hp. The stock Brit eng was 90 hp. If I eventually supercharge it I will only be running 7 psi. It will be a miracle if I get 100 hp out of it.

  • @gearhead48 true about the HP rating, i just hope the torque didn't increase exponentially.

  • WHy would some one half a** it? Your already there.  What six bolts to take out. People scare me sometimes. Well based on the other things you do at least its being done right this time. Awesome after the idle problems fixed time for the supercharger (at least that's my vote. I'm dying to see that thing installed) Thumbs up !!!

    Ha Ha! Thanks, I got the idle fixed. Now I'm fighting with the timing! I hope to build the exhaust system next. Then tires. Once these things are done and I have I good solid car I can get started on the Blower fab and install.
