Ultimately, while Sam may be over-cautious, he is in a sense doing much of the research for the rest of us, who are less cautious but still may wish to selectively adopt some of his tactics, even in a watered-down form. We should be thankful to a guy willing to make videos and risk looking like a dork for our benefit. I do think fish oil is redundant though in a nation that has a bottle of fish sauce on every table.
I agree Sam might be taking things a bit far in some areas...it's difficult to socialize effectively when wearing a paint respirator and rejecting roadside eating places. At that rate, you might as well just stay in the US. However, some of his advice is good. I'll admit to SLEEPING with a respirator on, and wearing a disposable diffusion mask (medical-style, but lined and with a filter) which doesn't look too out of place. Also, I think the shower filter is a good idea as it's inconspicuous
Yeah man, thanks for taking the time...but you have to let go of all that fear.....go get laid, stick your tongue in a strange womans mouth, then go eat some street food and get drunk....let loose mang, or just stay home dude.
Dude! After watching a couple of your videoes you seem like a hypokonder! Im going to Vietnam in a couple of months and I'm not gonna worry about stuff like this! Live a little dude!
Mathias85GL, you're right: I'm very careful about what I eat, and don't. The problem is that "live a little" doesn't apply to some of the extremely dangerous chemicals present in the environment, because "a little" could kill you. If you actually _knew_ what was in the food, then you could make an informed decision, but with little or no oversight of the food and water supply, it's all guesswork. One false step and you could end up passed out or dead. Read the local newspapers...
@samsaigon ur not gonna end up dead i lived there for like 12 years without any problem but i admit that the air is a bit polluted but wearing mask is good enough
