I've been there. The stations are awesome. It is because the socialists wanted every citizen to benefit from the luxury and richness that once only a small group of royalties had had in their like 500 room palaces. Very nice subway. I also like Tehran's subway too. Search "Tehran Metro 2009 " in youtube. Beautiful, its like a museum combined with a subway.

Mosow and Tehran's subways sure beats the subways system in NY which is old, dirty with stench of urine and bleech suffocating you in the summer. I wish the MTA would update the system in NYC given that we get so many tourists here
