I think he played for Auckland in the Air New Zealand Cup but can't remember if he played for the Blues. He got an career ending injury so I don't think he'll be playing any Rugby for the rest of his life unfortunately.

Played club rugby in New Zealand before moving to the US many moons ago. Now I must say until you play both sports, one might adhere to a biased opinion. I love contact sports and anything that involves hitting your opponent hard. I love the NFL for that reason. Though I wish NFL defensive players would be given more opportunity to run with the ball, like rugby players, so they too could get hit as they dish out. Also, cut out commercial breaks during games and play non-stop - for 80 mins!

Watch Craig Calvert who runs over 100m with ball in hand in 12 seconds whilst slowing up at the line. That is quick
