Here's an interesting number. Assume there are 10 million weak mortgages in America, and the 700 billion dollar bailout was applied just to those mortgages, i.e it was split into those mortgages. If this was the case every one of those 10 million weak mortgages would get $70,000.00 (70 thousand) bucks. What exactly did the "bankers" do with the first half of that 700 billion? To bad our ignorant politicians (verbal opinion) were too stupid to legislate accountably.

Today, I called the Sec. of the Treasury's office. When I tried to ask questions regarding the bailout, they admitted that they knew nothing about it. I told them that in view of that, I supposed that I could simply make up any story I liked and put that out to the media. Their response was "Go ahead". So not only is the treasury departement ignorant as to what they are doing, they aren't even concerned about your opinions of their performance.

I understand what you are saying. I hold a Electrical Conntractors License and know what the deal is on illegal workers. The problem is that it is illegal to hire them. That puts the employer that abides by the laws at a loss. Why would the Government encourage breaking the law?

The Roman Catholic Church is involved in this unlawful activity with multitudes of programs that cater to illegals. These programs receive Federal dollars. Catholics use Fed money instead of their own.

Thanks for taking the time to explain. You're right. When I did mention illegal aliens, I meant people from other countries with green cards that aren't citizens, but working here to better themselves. There should be a 15 year grace period though, to allow americans to clear up their debts before allowing all of this. I'll check into the Roman Cathlic Church issues. I didn't know this. Do you have any resources you can suggest I start with? Thanks
