Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm." in other words, when you pray for something have no worry because if it is God's will it will be done everything in this life happens for a reason you must trust God that he will do what is best for you. And also try I suggest thank God for things you are thankful let him know that stuff.
@wwejheaton everytime we pray we the Bible instructs us to have faith. Hebrews 11:1 says Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. We have to believe no matter how we feel... how looks or even sounds knowing that God hears our prayers and meets all our needs according to his riches through Christ. I hope this helps :)
@wwejheaton i hav felt that way many, many, many, many times. but i've been told tht we must ask in faith, not in disbelief. we must also take that leap of faith and believe BFOR we see God act or answer. having faith isnt waiting until God does a miracle in your life. it's being proactive and making choices honoring Him bfor you see Him pull thru. also what are you praying for? when we ask, we will recieve when we're asking for things that are according to His will (1jhn5:14).
Someone once told me that God doesn't give us what we want when we want it, He gives us what we NEED when we need it. Just have faith He knows what He's doing we just don't, He's there trust me.

We honestly don't know what we need, like a child who thinks they need a candy bar at that moment, they don't really need it they just want it. Both her lungs were destroyed her lungs couldn't stop bleeding.Dr said that not even a lung transplant would save her.I remember how in the supernatural God used Moses to part the red sea.So I prayed God in the supernatural power you gave Moses I ask u to close my daughter's lungs like u did to the red sea.. my mom had breast cancer in 2004 and it went into remission..it came back in 2008 in her bones, it slowly spread going through her liver and lungs and back into her bones. Just as it smeemed to go back into remission they did a brain scan and the cancer had gone into her brain and her spinal fluid..this was two weeks ago and the cancer is to far along she has less than 10 weeks to liive.the journey has been long for mom, but soon she will stand upon the mountian of GOD! My wife left me three months ago taking our two young kids with her. She says she doesn't love me anymore and wants a divorce. I have been a selfish and controlling husband during our 8 year marriage. I have repented and asked forgiveness but she doesn't want to come back. Yea what a lot of non-believers should know is that if we christians are WRONG....we would have nothing to worry about when we die, but if we're RIGHT then that IS something to worry about...and by that time it would be too late to change anything. And if I die and find out that there is no heaven or hell I would NOT regret the life I lived for Christ, it still would've been the best decision I have made.

Im in the Army and currently stationed in Afghanistan. It has been tough some times but I know that our God is great and his will is perfect for our lives. My daddy and brother had to go to afghanistan and it was the scariest thing fot me as a little girl. but my daddy promised me that we served a God that had a plan for everything... and that when i got scared talk to God. I couldn't talk to him everyday, but I did as often as he could, and everytime He reminded me that God helped him through his mission and for me to keep talking to God and not to be scared. my brother, Jayculla91, do not forget that some people may never 'feel' the presence of God, and I believe there's quite a few people out there. Count them blessed, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3 - 10). God loves Faith the most, but I am certain he loves the Faith of those who cannot feel his presence more than the Faith of those who can :)

One night I was feeling really horrible, I felt like I had nobody who loved me, because Iv e been backstabbed so many times. God heard my cries, I felt Him literally hug me, with His arms around me, trying to hold me together. Now I know Jesus will never leave! he was there with me through the pain, even though I was not that close to him back then, he was still there for me:)

You must have given your heart to him in truth. For He answers all who give of themselves from an open heart. It seems to a way we may recieve Him. NOW!...you should be inspired to seek Him through Chris. If you don't find yourself desiring to be closer to Him I would encourage you read and study to the New Testiment starting with the Book of Luke. He is always there for us only we often choose to turn from Him. Follow Him and be free through His Love and Truth. Find a good church.

this was my theme song for my a.c.t.s retreat and it matched me perfect i have renal tubular acidosis another words my kidneys create to much acid,the dont hold the pottasium in much so i take pottasium pills to keep it leveled,but it cant be to low but not to high.what happens if its low my body shuts down and ill die,if its to high heart attack and prolly die.ive had it since i was born,had few close calls with death,but i never forget why i never died...because of GOD thanx....

my great-uncle died from cancer of the lungs in march 21 2010...he went through the trials,went through the pain and suffering,but now god made him strong enough to stand on the mountain! you will always have to go through the fire but its ur choice to let god be you protection-TCOJC(GSA)

my mom had breast cancer in 2004 and it went into remission..it came back in 2008 in her bones, it slowly spread going through her liver and lungs and back into her bones. Just as it smeemed to go back into remission they did a brain scan and the cancer had gone into her brain and her spinal fluid..this was two weeks ago and the cancer is to far along she has less than 10 weeks to liive.the journey has been long for mom, but soon she will stand upon the mountian of GOD! We have to go through in order to have the strength to reach the top of the mountain God has made for us to stand upon. For He has gone ever before us in order for us to reach our mountain created for each of us. You are never alone for He promised he would be with us to the very end. My wife left me three months ago taking our two young kids with her. She says she doesn't love me anymore and wants a divorce. I have been a selfish and controlling husband during our 8 year marriage. I have repented and asked forgiveness but she doesn't want to come back. I am trying my best to change into a better man and I know I can do it with God's help. She is still my friend but won't talk to me about reconciliation. We are both Christians and I don't want to divorce. Please pray for us.

Yea what a lot of non-believers should know is that if we christians are WRONG....we would have nothing to worry about when we die, but if we're RIGHT then that IS something to worry about...and by that time it would be too late to change anything. And if I die and find out that there is no heaven or hell I would NOT regret the life I lived for Christ, it still would've been the best decision I have made.

Im in the Army and currently stationed in Afghanistan. It has been tough some times but I know that our God is great and his will is perfect for our lives. God said " I will never leave or forsake you" and I believe and trust him with my life. His grace is always sufficient. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

@drillsgt13- my dad and big brother were both stationed in afganistan 5 years ago, and as a daughter that was the longest year and a half of my life. Not knowing wether i would ever see them again. I would lay in my bed all night praying to God to keep them safe! And let me just tell you he is faithful because my dad and brother are both home, SAFE! My daddy and brother had to go to afghanistan and it was the scariest thing fot me as a little girl. but my daddy promised me that we served a God that had a plan for everything... and that when i got scared talk to God. I couldn't talk to him everyday, but I did as often as he could, and everytime He reminded me that God helped him through his mission and for me to keep talking to God and not to be scared. I'm so thankful for men like yall. yall are always heros to me! Thanks

i'm 17 now and my pains are back, but remember, We all have our trials and our crosses to bear, but God only gives us as much as we can bear.

Hang in there The Lord sees you and knows your pain I was paralyzed at 24 they sai I would never walk and I am walking I too had cancer and beat it. I had the worst childhood
but I pray to GOD and He has brought me to the life I have now, great son, good friends I still struggle but with the lord on my side I will make it
