Saints Row or GTA? I find gta boring and end up giving up after a few missions which are usually the same where as saints row is more fun as it isn't as real to life in some parts but that's what makes it the best of the two and i will always recommend saints row over gta.

I don't like these types of games much but this looks pretty good. It looks action-packed, darkly humourous and very pretty. To put it simply, it looks like a movie trailer. And what do other sandbox games have? Gritty realism, killing everyone and brown. None of the humour, just the pleasure of killing people in a very gritty way. Not as good.

This trailer makes this game look fun and that's saying something compared to other games of the same genre.

And there isent the big changes. It gives you choices. It lets you make silly stuff. You take care of 3 other gangs. Some of it is just gta sas freedom made much bigger. If gta 5 gives us that kinda freedom it will be cool to. If gta gives us something special it can get better. IWWAS

@mazinais31 actually I was thinking the other way, I hate GTA for many reasons, first the gameplay is boring. 2nd I hate the characters. the story sucks too. they're too serouse and not even fun at all. But Saints Row 2 are fun addictive. and the game mechanics are superb and full of customizations. comparing GTA to Just Cause 2. I rather choose Just cause 2. I don't like games that are too realistic.

@softwaremediaguru I agree, I don't think GTA is necessarily bad, it's just that it feels like some things are missing. Gameplay is seriously boring, you die easily, no health regeneration so if you fuck up you are screwed. In SR2 you can just run and hide and then take out the opponent when your health comes back. The story in every GTA game is the same. New guy in town, go steal a few cars, go kill someone, drive Roman home, etc. Are you getting SR3 for PC btw? If so, we can play if you want.

@mazinais31 Honestly I don't think this game will be that exaggerated with fantasy and sci-fi, at least not story wise. Most of the things that even I think is strange (flying bikes) is seemingly optional. At least 2 gangs in this game are serious/non-scifi: Morningstar and Luchadores. Deckers seems pretty lame though...

If you think the Saints Row series is kid's shit, there's something wrong with you. Saints Row has become way better than GTA. Loved Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire, but GTAIV was some bullshit. There wasn't even anything fun in it, it was just listening to dudes in russian accents and being sad, with some bad shooting thrown in.

Unfortunately I play games on the 360, my laptop isn't powerful enough to play modern games. My desktop probably has enough processing power and a good enough graphics card but I still have a bunch of kinks to work out of it like getting the wifi card to work and stuff and I've been mad lazy about it.
