No, you don't just access 'their' harddrive or trick the system by using false values. This isn't your generic J-tag 'hack' on Xbox. Manipulating any values would trick your computer into thinking you just gained something, and there are programs for that. But no program could possibly trick the server into thinking that you just acquired any item.
