We have two RH400's on my site, 4 in total and let me tell you, they are down more than there up, best loading tool we have is the P&H 4100, we also have two 495's, and there junk, both were down for at leat two weeks last month. As for driving the trucks, its can get very boring at times, even worse when you get short runs. But on the bright side it does pay good.
Man you dont want those hydraulic pipes bursting anywhere near you! Youde end up looking like drake from Aliens! Nasty! Ive had a shot of its little brother, the RH120 and I thought that was big! The job of my dreams is operating one of those or driving the big Cat dumptruck that matches the Rh400 but I doubt they'll ever get one of those into Scotland! One scoop and half the countrys gone! If you like that, check out old pond publishing for the Massive earthmovers DVD series highly reccomended!
People may be getting confused because they actually have electric over hydraulic controls but they have diesel engines and are hydraulically powered. They have electrically controlled levers though rather han hydraulic pilot controls. I used to operate an rh340 here in australia - very nice machine to operate.
Comenten en español o ingles, da igual. Poca gente habla portuguez a nivel mundial, esto es youtube. English is the best lenguaje to comunicate, since computers system and lenguaje are build in english ^_^
So it will now be a terex-bucyrus mining label on future machines would like to see one of them fetured in the Massive earhmoving dvds from old pond ltd. -check them out, I guarentee you wont be dissapointed!
Yeah that's a huge one, and you know what, that's also one of the constructicons in the Transformers 2 movie. Maybe you've seen that huge thing blasting off a bridge, some cars and autobots at the end of the teaser trailer? Well that huge thing is just ONE of the constructicons and guess what, it transforms into a TEREX RH 400... ain't that cool?
No an RH400 is definately not electric. Diesel. I haven't put a spanner to one yet so I don't know what engines they have exactly but they are a hydraulic dace shovel not an electric rope shovel.
wats the 2 little red can things hangin from the end of the boom? .. that operator seems pretty good, looks to me as if its easier to fill the bucket of a front facing shovel than a backwards one, especialy if your working into walls like that.. AND I WANNA HEAR IT IN ENGLISH!!

too bad the bucyrus 495HR cant set bench heights, maintain bucket fill and costs an absolute packet to run!!

Too bad the Bucyrus 495HR can kick its ass almost 2 to 1 in cubic yards.
bluesmagician 3 years ago
@bluesmagician It's too bad the 495HF can't stay running long enough to meet the production of an RH400....the 495HFs are junk.
