  • cool

  • WTF that amazing man. i give that 5 stars

  • study 4 hours a day for 2 years or 6 hrs a day for 1 year

  • He he, Marco is great :)

Can somebody please message me the best way to learn japanese without having to study 2 hours a day for 4 years.

    Thanks!

  • language is learned through practice, esp japanese... since it's so different from English

  • I think most people are missing the point, its obvious how its done but the magic is in the final shot where he shows the laptop with the grid over it and it still looks partly 2 dimensional. The magic is in the way the visual effect is interpreted by the brain. excellent

  • SOLVED:

-laid the cards on the ground, aligned to the grids of the ground

-[remote control talk] to buy time for the transition to take place, and also a diversion to viewers

-transition; where his men take away the cards

-his men replaced the cards with a brown mat, a laptop and a standing grid structure

-mistake: this setup isn't aligned to the grid of the ground anymore

  • no he makes the cameraman move to the real laptop, like three feet away

  • theres 2 mats one by the van and when he showed the control he took a slight step over and then theres a different mat look at the background theres the garage door in the back... also notice that dude that walks away thinking "wha da fuck he doing" lol

  • AND..he walked away from the picture to the real laptop

  • the picture and the laptop isnt even in the same size

  • but the labtop isn't on the same place

  • nice way of blending it message me if u want to now how he did this

  • that was an easy one :\

  • hahahahahahaha, i love how simple and cool and tricky ur videos are, ppl prolly think when u went down u switched but i wont tell them what u did, let them figure it out, keep on going man this is really cool

  • hahaha good i saw it the first time that awesome

  • would be easy to get a new laptop that way :P

  • its a good trick. but simple too. clever how u occupy the viewers while u change sides from left to right

  • saw it the second time =)

  • Looks like that was done in front of Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara using EngageMedia.

  • at (00:54) you change it

  • easy one.

  • that was cool, al-beit, fairly easy to figure out.

heres a hint, at about 52 seconds the camera becomes very shakey

  • y is the tricks so easy to tell

    its no fun

  • This is great stuff! Thanks. Very creative thinking.

  • Your the best!

Very entertaining and fun. Visually pleasing

    the way it should be!

  • you have to give this guy some credit,

i would like to see you think of some trcks like these,

yer some of them might be easy to notice how he did them but dont ruin it for the people that dont know.

  • watch the B camera.. watch the reflection of camera A in Camera B.. n compare the location of the letter "A" on the Tshirt with respect to the position of the camera in both the pictures.. two different people hold 2 different cameras with the letter "A" on it.. nicely done though.. ;)

  • watched it twice and its nicely done, all it is, positioning of everything, find out for yourself

i know the secret watch from 0:51-0:56 where his position in everything is

  • lol wow ur so creative, bit to long of a pause tho

  • No Marco, this was too predictable, maybe set up computer a bit quicker or something. Nice try though.

  • He did it well, but I know how he did it. :)

  • lol, maybe next time you should make the shift a little less noticable, very nice though

  • I'm totally diggin these illusions

  • amazing!!

  • ahha this one is easy, its like the tricks you do with your camera, with a camera, u can't really see distance, the second he removed the frames and dropped it on the ground, u already saw that it was not even lying down on the ground, it was actually a trapezoid with grids getting smaller and smaller

  • dam, awesome

  • amazing

  • OMG that was amazing!

  • this guy rocks!!!

  • v nicely done trick - who else saw how he did it?

  • it's not hard to see, I think, but the idea's are all great!

  • Check the background....the second shot its in a differetn posicion.

  • I don't mean to burst the bubble, but he moves to the right side where the original picture wasn't. It's off to the left. :D But I love the tricks!

  • I saw

  • I like the way you do your tricks. very original, nicely done.

  • I had to watch it a few times to finally see it...

  • and zy nickname es Borat

  • good trick but i saw him move to the right. pritty obvious

  • Marco, you are one true cool guy. You're charming and lead the audience into a brief but splendid experience.

  • Yep pretty easy to figure out but it looks spectacular.

    Nicely done.

  • Easy one to figure out ...

  • its nice but you can actually see the trick because when the camera guy moves he doesnt get back to the original place where you were at first...

  • cool, but you just moved to the right and took a different thing...

  • if you look when he finished putting the "pieces" and when the camera lookes at his face and lookes down again, its in a different spot

  • y is he always in japan

  • I love your videos and tricks, however this one didnt even come close to bewildering me the way many have before.

  • u have a gd jap accent... ur soo lucky, i wish i was in jp! how is it?

oo ummm isnt this trick already done form your previous trick...

  • Nicely done!

  • After watching it twice i know how he did...

  • wakatta yo wakatta!!! hahahaha... somebody put the real laptop when you're showing the remote, and replace the lines with a kinda white cage thing. rrriiiigghtt? :D

  • i love the way marco smiles while he does things, but one thing is that you have to make it a lil more realistic by being more picky with the places you did the trick coz, by having the shop centre name above you allows me to see how you've from your orignal spot to another...be carefull

  • simple trick. he just walked to the left

  • this is one of the noticable tricks ever..

you already had a laptop setup to your left so if you watch from 00:50 you could see the cardboard was on his right and the camera just moved down to his left.

  • He turned to the right.

  • its always camera trickery...

  • yet agin briliant

  • omg haven't seen your video for so long, still good as usual :)

  • I don't say it's easy but

    it's not a challenge 4 me :)

ps. how did you do that?

  • Are you fluent in Japanese? You speak it quite easily, unless it was memorized.

  • It was a good illusion as always, Marco, but this had to have been the easiest switcharoo to spot out of your vids so far.

  • A little too obvious this time

  • Too easy, marco! I hope you'll come back at the same place for a better one, like the one on the bridge.

  • sure... hold on to your seats. i will upload the next one in sa few hours. :-) thanks for watching.

  • ah da da kanah? Wtf? English would be nice.

  • quite simple one

  • Ah come onn, You used to spend less time focusing on you while people change the stuff.

That was too obvious. Give us a challenge! Like the taxicab trunk one was pretty good...

  • crazy accent!

  • hehe, easy to figure out but fun anyway

  • you should have placed the 2nd (real) grid)to line up with the tiles on the pavement (like the 1st one) as its too obvious its a different setup.

  • Cool trick with a camera, after he shows the computer image, the camera moves around and he actually moves to a different set-up where he completes the trick, clever.

  • sorry not really good. You didn't film the same thing as you placed on the floor. I kept track of where you placed the queares and the real portable wasn't at the same place. Dissapointed.

  • check uot the new video... should be better. this one was to warm up...

  • when did you get that accent? oh well, put that white bar thing up and put a real pc while you were showing the remote, clever.

  • I see what u did thar! gj though ^^

  • bravo!

  • Thank you Marco for all the magic videos this year! I enjoy them.

  • if you look at the squads on the floor, u repair that they rotate the cam to another way, where the pc is.

  • marco! you are back. very glad. thank you for fun videos.

  • nice stuff =D

  • i figured it out pretty quick. This phonecam trick isn't as mind boggling as the other ones.

  • demonry!

  • cool =) got me for a second. the white thing is standing upright. :P

  • Aha, this is the first trick that I'm reasonably sure I know how you did it, entertaining as always nevertheless :P

  • Ahaaa.. I know what you're doing. lol.. very clever.. I don't want to reveal the secret to all the other viewers you know =P lol

  • cool

  • Damn, nice trick, but(European think-a-lot) :

If you look it 2times, you will see that the second laptop aktion, stood allthetime 90° lft next to the camera at behinning.

well nice one, but can`t punk me^^

    great work

  • marco! your voice has broken!

  • there are 2 cubes. the first set is the cards that he laid down. and the second is the actual computer. watch closly. the 2 cubes are in different positions.

  • you lined up the grid qwik time, a bit obvios but still a good optic ilution

  • Clean and simple! Keep up the good work. =)

  • cmon marco , u can do alot better then this , this isnt even hard to figure out , just as easy as the first one u made on the bridge . make it better like u done with the 2nd time on the bridge. that was a really good one. u should stay with those good ones and not make a bad one like this after it. well its not bad , but compared to ur others it looks bad. this is just to easy to see/figure out :p. cmon marco u can do better^^

  • AHH he's doing the same trick over again, just different object.

    His japaneese sounds good though!

  • Impressive, like the cube, and I'll give kudos to the camera person for keeping the perspective at the end.

  • you stayed out of the shot too long. but hye. all your videos are excellent. keep it up Marko! =)

  • Nice one. :)

  • it would have been better if the camera phone never left the laptop

  • Did you see the color of the laptop from the flat picture to the real one, it's different.

  • comon marco... comon this is easy stuff most people can do that

  • this one was for warming up only. :-) the next one should be a level up. thanks for watching.

  • Watch how the backround changes hmmm maybe you have to set ups nice distraction with the remote!

  • whoooooooo its so cool

  • interesting

  • lol, to eazy mate. you moves like ten foot to the right so obviously, oh well

  • Ouch...the moving a few meters to the right was painfully obvious. Would have been an awesome trick without that little slip-up.

  • oh well... i guess I have to post "plan B" earlier then planned. hold on to your seats. I am in Akasakusa shooting the next one now. :-)

  • I'm looking forward to it! :D Keep up the good work

  • too easy :-P, see you move

  • Yes, that was an easy one :)

  • first

    GOOD one tempest

  • nice job dude, you are very inventive.

  • hm..

  • eg white pole.i noticed the change of angle , ov about 45degres to the right gave it away too much, on how you did it,e not bad but u have done better.

  • weird

  • ichi ga chigau

  • That one was really easy, oh, and finally you're back, I was starting to think you ran out on us

  • LOL.

  • similar to your cube one, but great as usual

ive missed all missed your videos :D all the best for 2007.

  • same to you ! thanks for watching.

  • Two different set-ups. The first is just the grid, the second is the computer behind a 3-dimensional contraption.

    Love the videos, Marco!

  • Crazy Man, This trick is great. I really wanna know how you do this..

  • I applaud you

  • easy to figure ou

  • Disappointing...not up to your usual standards. The second & real laptop is positioned off to the side of the puzzle piece version. Very easy to see by looking at the alignment of the edges compared to the edges of the tiles, and also the background of the two versions is shifted. Finally, the "handoff" when the camera is off the laptop is far too slow... making it very obvious that the camera is being shifted to a different view.

  • Too easy.

  • Very good Marco... There are a few too many angle clues in the background though. We can see when you pull the remote control that you focussed on a different spot with the real laptop.

Keep em coming, it's very fun.

  • I think the routine would have worked better in another location

  • Very nice one!

  • finally a new video marco. this one was a pretty easy one, hope you make more soon. I'm planning to make my own youtube series also.

    -Rom

p.s its nice to be the first one to comment on one of your popular videos

  • Not bad. ^_^

  • first! pretty cool... but not as good as ur last one

  • wow! good job

  • easy..but still very neat

  • No offense Marco but that's really easy to figure out. I like your videos though.

  • I know how you did it!

  • that was nice, but since you did a similar one earlier this did not fool me.

  • Nice optical effect, ouch... my eyes...

  • You look sort of high in the start, why haven't you uploaded videos in a long time!? Cool trick!

  • Too easy indeed. The first one I realized at the first sec

  • Still waiting for how you did the bridge thing...

  • i will give that one up in 16 days... but more to come before then.

  • How did you..?

  • great video

  • Nice Marco :-) but it was too obvious that you had the real portable beside the puzzle.

  • thank You ^_^

  • This was is cute but a little easy to figure out...pity as Tempest is actually very talented. If you get a chance to see him live definetly do so.

  • The 'computers' were not in the same place on the ground. The real one was already there a few feet away from the flat one.

  • Awesome!

    -Mahfuz

  • Cool illusion as always, i think I know how it works but it still dosnt take away how cool it is

  • no

  • outsch...

  • LOL this posted like 10% of my comment. "now you made me spend 10 minutes sitting here figuring out exactly how you did that" lol.

  • 4/5, Surely worth watching

  • See you again, next time! :)

  • nice man

  • Youre right an easy one but Marco it isnt very much about how hard it is to solve but how creative it is.. this one is very creative great job! :)

  • so simple.

  • Yes, it's easy but cool anyway - Like your other vids

  • Well I dont need to say how he did it. You all know how.

  • good entertainment

  • No matter how easy they are to figure out, they are still cool to see.

  • Yeah, it was kind of easy to figure out, but it's still cool.

  • Amazing!!

  • you're cool :D

  • pretty cool!

  • are u serious? i really hope people dont have trouble figureing this one out. nice trick but to easy to figure out.

  • just swap it while the camera isn't facing the compute

  • well that magic was kinda easy

u had a box with those white lines and the laptop under .. looking like a tridimencional figure

and u had the tridimencional laptop on floor ..

    both close to each other

    u just moved the cam

pretty easy if u dont mind i say

    nothing we cant figure out

    love ur magics

    cya

  • This one was easy to see through....it was obvious where you changed the pictures to the real computer....

  • 1st commnet :) good stuff marco

  • we waited over a month for that? there was so much time for someone to put something right next to the original plate things.

  • jetlag could be an excuse? anyway the next one is on the way already.

  • Cool Trick Marco your tricks just keep on getting better

  • Too easy Marco ... but well done ! :-)
