  • This is really nice. I just wish you could have put the first one with the four stars' names in it. But great job!!!! :)

  • I must be the oldest person here on YouTube, but I vividly remember the second Logo and jingle (No. 2) at the conclusion of the closing theme for the original "Burke's Law" that was on Friday nights on ABC way back in early 1964. I specifically remember that "jingle" with the Logo because it always reminded me to stay tuned to the TV because "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" would be coming on next. This really brought back memories for me! Thanks for posting this!

  • You forgot to include the variation of the banner logo where the announcer says "filmed by Four Star"

  • 1.1936-1938

    2.1938-1943

    3.1943-1949

    4.1949-1952

    5.1952-1955

    6.1955-1987

    7.1987-2006

  • Joesph Mullendore composed 1965-'66 Four Star "Signature", 'GOOSEY' (the one heard on "AMOS BURKE- SECRET AGENT", 'HONEY WEST", and "THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS SHOW").

  • I stand corrected: the MAJORITY of the Four Star TV library is controlled by 20th Century-Fox Television. Thanks for the corrections, 'GOOSEY'! :)

  • @fromthesidelines who composed the 1965 four star banner jingle. who really composed it. when was it really introduced on.

  • Four Star Television was co-founded by Dick Powell (his is the voice heard in the first logo), Charles Boyer, David Niven and Ida Lupino in 1952, although it was primarily Powell's outfit. Aaron Spelling was "discovered" by Powell, and wrote and produced numerous TV series for Four Star until he left in 1966 because, as he put it, "Some idiot decided to wipe Dick Powell's name off the masthead" {he died in 1963}. Today, the Four Star library is controlled by 20th Century-Fox Television.

  • Bizarre...

  • please do a 1970's Four Star International Jingle DAA DAA DAA DAA DAA DAA DAA DAA DAA DAA DAA.

  • The bastard child of Revue & Screen Gems...LOL

  • Why am I suddenly reminded of the Jetsons when I see the Four Star Diamonds (0:30)?

  • because of the opening titles of "the jetsons"

  • I think the diamonds one is kinda cheap looking

  • @Staszu13 I love the diamond logo

  • @Pinky39559 I prefer the CGI one. The banner used to scare the shit out of me. Diamonds? Ok, but the animation is way cheesy.

  • @Staszu13 To be quite truthful ,watching TV as a child , I don't remember the cartoony diamonds logo , the CGI Four Stars International logo ( also quite well done ) , nor the banner flying from the sky , I only remembered the logo with the stars on the side that came at the end of every episode of Big Valley ( I think ) .

  • Great tribute to a long-gone TV production company. Out of all the logos Four Star went through in its history, my favorite has to be the "Four Star International" from 1968 to 1975.

  • I know Four Star Productions have been sold to New World Television. Later on today I Will upload Logo Histories-New World Television

  • @Joe500000 I can't wait to see that.

  • who composed the jingles and who
