@DarkTireAnus I kinda agree, the campaign was WAY too short and could have been better. I heard that Microsoft wanted to release it as soon as possible, so they made Bungie throw together a less-than-optimal campaign so they could get their money faster.

@crazyman2171 that giant crater there is called a floodgate. Truth activated it and it basically acted as a portal to the Ark, which I will explain in a bit. The floodgates were created for the forrunners' ships to land on planets and produce life again, but in this case, truth used it in complete reverse. @PokemonRevoulution what i cant understand is why they did not use the floodgate on reach the 1 under the ice all they had to do was dig like they did in the slipspace crater created by the ship jumping to hyper space in halo2 and another thing ''MAC''guns come one why the fuck did they no just use the huge lazer's from the battle sations around the earth ?? i sure they where not taken out ?? or why not fire the MAC rounds al at the same spot causing shields to drop and maybe a hull breech ??
The Artifact isn't called floodgate. The artifact under the ice on Reach was a data storage Artifact, not a slipspace portal generator like the one on Earth was, and all orbital defenses were destroyed. And focusing the MAC guns on the same spot wouldn't do anything because the ship was a Forerunner battleship, which means its armor is almost indestructible.
@TheAmirka no he used a supspace bomb and the ship that came out of now where came from another supspace bomb. If you played ODST the beginning scene is when a supspace bomb almost sucks you in and it sucks a giant carrier in. The carrier was teleport there at 1:48 (p.s. music pwns :D)

The portal to the Ark was good and bad, good thing is it lead the Covanent out of Earth, and bad thing is it gave those alien bastatsrds a chance to activate all the rings.
