hey PCWizKid, I love looking at my email and seeing that you have uploaded new videos! Anyways, my ram slot is like 1 inches away from the cpu socket. The stock cooler is fine but, this cpu cooler is more wide and would be hanging over the DIMM slot. My ram heatsink is tall so I would like to know how many inches (height) from the DIMM slot to the bottom of the cpu cooler. Thanks and keep up the great videos!
Nice that you come up with these coolers we normally don't see on PC's persee. Is there a way in the future to put a link to purchasing coolers such as this and those by glacial tech?
my 550be is 18(temp probe) degrees and on the mobo says 27-30 (lookt up the mobo manual and it says chipset) dont have the same mobo but same principle no?
Seems like a real winner! I may have to look into one to replace my Corsair H50 (Not liking it's performance on my i5 750 at 4 Ghz). Liking the fat pipes though! Nice video. I approve and give 5 stars.
it has been reviewd by everyone its good if u want a cpu cooler get the h50 :d and 2 noctua fans a bigger rpm one inside pushing outside and a lower rpm fan pulling outside (tested by me it is better:D)
sorry to bring up unrelated stuff. but can you make a video of how to remove ubuntu from a 32 bit pc, and do it without formatting the drive or factory restoring it? like my self being pretty experienced with computers, repaired many, made a couple, but im stumped with this. it doesn't even show up as a partition! and the grub loader wont go either -.- ... thank you in advance <3
@pjwithbread8 You need to do 2 things, delete the partition that ubuntu is on from windows and format it from within the windows disk management tool. Then you need to rebuild the master boot record so it removed the Ubuntu grub information and restores the windows.
Well i tried partition commander 10 and i cant get it to run on my computer -.- another problem :/ do you know any free partition managers? because i cant merge it back to drive C anymore at least with the windows disk management
The fan in between the fins and heat pipes seems to be taking on a popular fad by a lot of companies, especially Noctua.
The fan is beautiful, I would love two more to add to the sides if I were to have this cooler. It's a bit of a shame to hide it (;
I also like the base of this cooler better than those with the actual heat pipes contacting the CPU, it leaves no gaps where the pipes are round. Awesome, thanks for a great review!
@StraggleFire.Maybe hes sponsered since youtube gives lots of publicity so companies would like thier product to get heard so they send him parts to review
Looks just like the V8 design just a bit less features
actually i think it is the CM V8 design
Cons: taking out the fan to install that is a huge negative if people attach the fan in the wrong directions and dont notice it for a while bad stuff is going to happen.
Pros: Good price
Good temperature readings (average at least better than stock)
PCWizKid what's better this or the V8? i dont really know any difference cuz i dont have the processor and cant test it
....Tune in Next time when PCWizKid shows how to build a small thermal nuclear device , using an AMD cpu and some Microwave parts he had lying around....lol!...
Anyone who knows, please answer me;
- How do I make sure the airflow is pointing in the right direction?
wilkmn 3 months ago
@wilkmn
Airflow has to go from the side with less ribs to the side with more. You have the airflow direction arrow drawn on the fan as well.

@Zillerz3 you are correct the V8 is easier to install than this because of the Fan. But cooling wise they are basically the same.
