Exciter Rules! This song kicks ass! Whenever I'm at work and there's a lot of customers coming in, this song always comes to mind, LOL.

Exciter is still going but John Ricci is the only original member left. I've seen em a couple of times in recent years and they can still kick ass on stage. Never got to see em back in the day tho:(

BTW I don't know what people mean when they say Unveiling The Wicked was "commercial" That album's heavy as fuck!

I don't remember this album too well except I vaguely remember thinking it was more commercial, mellow than the first 3, it was kinda like taking a direction that Raven and Krokus took around this time...is my memory correct? IT was not as heavy as previous albums but it was not an all out pop metal album..?

I saw Exciter & Venom in São Paulo in 12/10/1986...unfortunately Exciter was without John Ricci....and...Exciter without John Ricci or Dan beeler....is like Motorhead without Lemmy.And Venom was without Mantas...that was the same...WHAT A FUCKIN BAD LUCK!!!Sorry...but it is the truth.GOOD TIMES HELL YEAH!!!!!!

1986 huh? Well that isn't Allen Johnson on bass. Allen was right handed. Nick is correct though about certain people missing from the band can and will kill the bands name. Exodus was a great band until the latest singer came in. I'm not too hot on the band now. But that's just my opinon.

Exciter rule, just listen to "Heavy Metal Maniac" 's power, aggressivity and speed, a true pioneer album for thrash metal although they stayed into speed metal. Anyway, they influenced a lot of bands, such as Annihilator

Exciter should be given their due as pioneers as the thrash genre. While they were not as hyperspeed as many bands that came after them, they no doubt paved the way with faster tempos, crude production and a perfect kick of HM flavor. Exciter could have gone far. Weep for lost glory.
