@futurecharlie Yea man, me too. 1996, the Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was a packed house. Got right up front, me and 3 of my friends. He had long hair and it was it was fucking awesome. Those were the William Goldsmith days. They played the whole album and EVERY B-Side. Including Butterflies. I've seen them 3 times since, in New York and New Jersey....... and let me say, the Raleigh show was by far the best show out of all of them. We were up close and personal. Man I miss that
Pat Smear doesn't get the credit he deserves. His work with Nirvana and the Foo Fighters was great. Hell, I doubt Nirvana could have done a few shows without Pat, especially the one when Kurt's guitar stops playing. Plus, The Germs are great. So, give Pat some credit!
Yeah, I saw them live in North Carolina with the original line-up, and a couple times after. They're all about arenas now. Not the up close and personal band they used to be. They came to Raleigh and played their B-sides and just ruled. The 90's kicked ass.
ok is it just me or does the instruments sound very similar to Aneurysm By Nirvana

The way William Goldsmith was treated was to say the very least APPALLING. Grohl's lowest moment. Opinion.

William Goldsmith is such an underrated drummer. Much better than Dave or Taylor imo.

I always though Taylor Hawkins joined the band before Nate Mendle, but I guess i'm wrong. I love the old Foos, but some of their new stuff isn't bad.

Dave did a such a great job recording this album by himself, except for that one guitar part on "X-Static" by Greg Dulli.
