  • ok is it just me or does the instruments sound very similar to Aneurysm By Nirvana

  • i'm surpised that dave or kirst didn't get kurts guitar

  • ahh classic foo fighters....

  • i loved the episode of bevis and butthead when they watched this video

  • and also thanking Dave Grohl for bagging out Courtney Love

  • Yes, I'll Stick Around

  • Bring back Pat Smear

  • they hav,he plays with them live still, and hes like 50 now

  • Old FF=great

    New FF=shit

  • I agree with that 100%

  • it seems like a lot of bands have become too mellow

  • Bands I guess, like primary school.

  • The way William Goldsmith was treated was to say the very least APPALLING. Grohl's lowest moment. Opinion.

  • agreed

  • Yeah, knowbody talks about it though. I saw them with the original line up and they were ace.

  • @futurecharlie Yea man, me too. 1996, the Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was a packed house. Got right up front, me and 3 of my friends. He had long hair and it was it was fucking awesome. Those were the William Goldsmith days. They played the whole album and EVERY B-Side. Including Butterflies. I've seen them 3 times since, in New York and New Jersey....... and let me say, the Raleigh show was by far the best show out of all of them. We were up close and personal. Man I miss that

  • William Goldsmith is such an underrated drummer. Much better than Dave or Taylor imo.

  • the 90s were awsome

  • Pat Smear doesn't get the credit he deserves. His work with Nirvana and the Foo Fighters was great. Hell, I doubt Nirvana could have done a few shows without Pat, especially the one when Kurt's guitar stops playing. Plus, The Germs are great. So, give Pat some credit!

Oh yeah, I'm loving Dave's work on the SG.

  • SG?

  • indeed, this song is badass.dave grohl didn't even wait a year after nirvana until he started rocking again

  • that song will forever kick ass

  • yeah... older times .. foo fighters grunge forever....

  • I always though Taylor Hawkins joined the band before Nate Mendle, but I guess i'm wrong. I love the old Foos, but some of their new stuff isn't bad.

  • actually, pat's real name is georg. not pat ruthensmear

  • didn't know that, i thought at the start that his name is patrick smear, then patrick ruthensmear, and pat's for patrick, lol

  • this is when foo fighters were good !!!

  • I love Pat Smear.

  • Dave did a such a great job recording this album by himself, except for that one guitar part on "X-Static" by Greg Dulli.

  • To me, this was the Foo Fighters!!!!!!!

  • I totally agree with you.

  • i like their 1995-2000 time, and maybe the 2002 album but now they're not the same

  • Very very true. :(

  • Yeah, I saw them live in North Carolina with the original line-up, and a couple times after. They're all about arenas now. Not the up close and personal band they used to be. They came to Raleigh and played their B-sides and just ruled. The 90's kicked ass.

  • @kevadekene i dont know i think they're evolving and theres only one song by them that i cannot stand. "enough space" everything else is just superb

  • check out my video of the 8 bit version of this song

  • awesome video, I havent seen it since High School.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks for the vid!

    :)

  • yeah, i figured there were really small amounts of this video on the internet. and the others were bad quality
