When the cat got thrown I nearly shouted BINKY. I rewounded the cigarette bit about 5 fimes until i saw the fake hand.

Actually think thats the only thing slightly "magical" in this whole act, pretty sure the box is double sided and the cats still in it at the end of the trick.

:p had to watch it twice but the cat flying through the air is definately not real.

@GhostInTheShell29 Yes that generally how they do their tricks, they take very common tricks and "show" you how they are done, but then usually one up it with an actual trick that isnt revealed how its done, ergo the cat. But I believe you are slightly correct on the box. Its probably more likely that the box doesnt have a back to the lid. So when he lifts it straight up in the air the cat is still at the bottom of the box.

i've seen it before, and read how to do it with a matchbox. when he pulls out the drawer, the kitten is still in the bottom half of the box. at least that's how i think they did it.
