As a small white kid growing up in rural Tanganyika, elephantiasis was common enough to make me think people with a "fat" leg (or other part) were just another tribe! Only later did I know the horrible truth (my video contains original footage of 1950's & 60's Tanganyika/Tanzania). Good to know someone is trying to help!

It was not predicted in the quran because it already existed; it is caused by parasites that invade the lyphatic system and it is curable.
