I was thinking in overclocking my XFX 8800 GS Alpha Dog Edition so it would be equivalent to the 8800 GT. Is it safe? Will the life time of my video card be reduced? I've got a Powercooler 550w power suply (real watts)
japorms318 .. yes it will as long as you have a PCI Express slot any card will work on your system .. but sad part is that that card wont run at 100% on your computer .. first of all your proccessor is to out dated and slow, it will slow down the grpahics card because it cant keep up .. you need a nice dual core or quad to run this card also i would recomend 2 gigs of ram or more .. if you stay at 1 gig i hope you have a really fast hard drive set up in raid 0 ..
wow! u rocked man!

Sehr eigenartig das dieses vid mit etwa 15 - 20 fps läuft (was man sehen kann) und die anderen mit ultrahigh mit über 30 sogar in Ice. Sry aber ne.

Go for a PC,I know that ppl are better with their mice than with the PS3 controllers...
PC online play is the best as you can download and communicate easily...

all et very high 1680+1050 16-20 fps ~
without fraps 30-40
gioy808 3 years ago
i honestly dont believe that, 1680 x 1050 very high with 30-40 on a signle 8800gs?. thats bull
that means ur getting 35fps on average 1680 x 1050 very high.
thats just as good as an hd4850 if u ask me.
i get about 33-35 average all HIGH dx9 with a single 9600gt and an e7200 clocked at 3.0ghz
id like to see proof . run a benchmarking tool and set it to veryhigh dx10 and lets see how it comes out.
