How could Hagar carry a 16 year old man on her shoulder and cast him under a shrub?
What is obvious is that this verse is describing a baby. So either the verse is wrong, or the sequence of events got mixed up. Either way, the point is that because of the mistakes in the story of Ishmael and Isaac the Bible cannot be trusted as an authentic source.

The oldest, Mark, was written more than 70 years after Christ ANONYMOUSLY. Similarly, Hebrews is anonymous. Matthew and Luke were copied from Mark. While one verse says that both Evil and Good issue from Allah, the very next verse says only Good comes from Allah!

It seems to be all ignorance, arrogance, death threats, violence resulting in bloodshed or softer violence like rioting & protests calling for murder. Islam is only held together by violence. The Quran was written and memorized during the life of Muhammad, by known scribes, not nearly a century after his death by nameless individuals. It was compiled into one manuscript by his companions shortly after his death, not by people who never met him four centuries later. Really, when it comes to textual criticism you cannot compare the Bible and the Quran.

One of the names of the Quran is "Al Furqan" meaning "The Criterion". It was sent as a criterion to distinguish what is the true word of God from what was man's corruption.
The books before the Quran were sent to specific peoples and not for all mankind. Hence Jesus states he was only sent to Bani Israil. Then the last revelation, the Quran, was sent as a guide for all humanity. Therefore God protected in a way that he didn't do for the previous revelations.

Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore him Ishmael.
Then in Gen 21:5
Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.
So, according to these verses, Ismail was 14 years older than Isaac.
Then later in chapter 21, after the weaning of Isaac, it talks about Abraham sending Hagar and Ismail away. Now at this point, according to the earlier verses, Ismail should be at least 16 years old. In Biblical times, he would have been considered an adult. With me?

How could Hagar carry a 16 year old man on her shoulder and cast him under a shrub?

What is obvious is that this verse is describing a baby. So either the verse is wrong, or the sequence of events got mixed up. Either way, the point is that because of the mistakes in the story of Ishmael and Isaac the Bible cannot be trusted as an authentic source.

About the new testament, it's unfortunate that the authorship of many books are questionable. The only parts that we know for sure who the author was are the letters of Paul. The oldest, Mark, was written more than 70 years after Christ ANONYMOUSLY. Similarly, Hebrews is anonymous. Matthew and Luke were copied from Mark. All in Greek, which was not the language Jesus preached in.

You cannot deny that mixing of the sexes leads to adultery/fornication, which leads to the spread of STDs, unwanted pregnancy, high abortion rates, and deviant sexual behavior.
In America alone, up to 70% of all sexually active females have contracted an STD (mostly HPV). Thats why there are so many abstinence programs, yet when young men and women mix, sex WILL happen.

There are two types of female circumcision. The one that is most famous it the "pharaonic" type, where the entire clitoris is removed, and the "sunnah" type, where a small portion of the clitoral hood is removed, leaving the clitoris intact.
The first type is totally forbidden, while there is some debate over the second type. It's the "Imams" who try to convince people to abandon the pharaonic type, yet it's entrenched in the culture especially in the East Africa, where the practice is common.

As for male circumcision, even if it was practiced before Islam, it is an Islamic practice. The hygienic benefits are well known so I really don't see what the problem is here.

No it's a great thing for a couple to make love, if they are married. Our religion teaches that for a man to make love to his wife is a gift.
I have seen many women beaten in my life, but never by a muslim. And although the rule for killing an apostate is there, I haven't heard about it being carried out in modern times.
If this rule is what kept muslims from apostating, you would find many muslims leaving Islam as soon as they gain refuge in a secular society.
