@Chino92210 They went from metal to melodic rock... No where near as lame as country. Shadows just didn't want to scream anymore so they softened it up to fit without the screaming (otherwise it would have sounded SO off) and as they progressed they got softer and softer. All bands do it at some point, no one sticks to their heavy roots but that's just what happens. Waking the fallen was easily my favorite album though :P but I still like all of their stuff, even their latest album.

The Rev accepted to be in A7x because of his strong friendship with Matt (M. Shadows), so they somehow recorded Sounding the Seventh Trumpet for European label "Goodlife Recordings". After that, Syn heard the record, thought it was creative, and accepted to join the band. They then rerecorded To End the Rapture, and Hopeless bought STST and A7x.

I have the album too, and I'm aware it says that, but it doesn't specifically say that those are the recording artists, but it merely says that Avenged Sevenfold consists of those members. Also, if I recall correctly, there's a mention of Justin Sane recording the bass in the credits (I don't have the album case with me at the moment).
