@NicoleGoode327 did you buy the game? if you didn't you could just have a glitchy copy. also the random footsteps could be from animals around you. the unfinished house could have spawned in at any point and been blown up by a creeper or if you have 1.8 up an endermen could have gotten to it. or it could have just spawned oddly.
