  • beautiful song

  • This song remind me of Michael Jackson for some reason. R.I.P. King of Pop 1958-2009

  • I LOVE HIS SONG. Stevie's voice/piano playing, and Bill Lee's sting orchestration brings passion to this song. Best song in the movie and didnt even make the soundtrack. Thats not good.

  • @AveryIam That was on purpose that it didn't make the Jungle Fever soundtrack; Stevie performed it for a charity fundraiser ensemble album for the Romainian orphans around 1990 and he wanted everybody to buy that CD for charity, so he told Spike Lee he'd do it for Jungle Fever, but only if it was not released on the sound track and Spike agreed.

  • @liquidassets81 Big mistake, Stevie!

  • @projectmolcos Well yes and no. I think the charity album sold pretty well and raised a decent amount of money for the Romanian orphans so I'm sure he was happy with his decision. I bought the charity album and it's pretty good.

  • @liquidassets81 Fair enough, but I thought that, after everything you saw in the film, this song was a powerful summation of what you had seen, so it's a glaring and rather unfortunate omission. IMHO.

  • @projectmolcos Well that's why I said yes and no, because the soundtrack's loss was the charity album's gain. Actually the song was written for the orphans first before the movie, so it wasn't like the soundtrack lost it, Stevie allowed them to borrow it for the movie. If you want to check out the charity album it's called "Nobody's Child: Romanian Angel Appeal" and it's very good. Elton John, Billy Idol, Guns n Roses, and Paul Simon are also featured, among others.

  • oh wow thanks for posting this song you cant find it anywere one of Stevies best ever
