For years, I've listed my favorite R&B vocalists as being Peabo Bryson and Gerald Levert, and listening to this reminds me of how big this song was when I was in 9th grade, and kinda makes me sad cause I still can't believe Gerald is gone. His body of work is indescribable, and his production of artists like Desiree Coleman in the late 80s, Rude Boys' "Written All Over Your Face", and even his OWN work with his group Levert (and his solo work) ALL speaks for itself..this is HONESTLY talent!
