Come on guys, this is what our boys are fighting for. To pertect our right to do as we wish. God bless these little cuties and I hope that they never have to deal with the horror of war. I feel blessed that their are men out there fighting to pertect me and my loved ones . The best way for meand for others to show their respect is to enjoy life as we know it . Why are they laughing don't they know what this song is about? This song came out during the time of the Vietnam war. The writer did not want people to foolishly throw their life away during a war. It's not something to laugh about.

I actually like the remake a bit better, the snare and other instrumentation is tighter and the vocals have a nice tone to them although I do like both versions. You really can't find the Bo Donaldson (the band) version on youtube
