what i find is stubborn refusal to hear the truth and christian people have actually said to me "when you grow in the Lord you will see". i just want to slap the shit out of them. my following of Christ demands I don't kill, demands I educate myself and demands that I live at peace with all men, and it demands i don't give money to murderers. but here in America christianity seems to equate support of Israel.

I think it is time for a 3-State solution. The Gazans and Hamas movement need to declare indepencence for Gaza and set up their own democratic constutition. Then they will have a chance at international legitimacy and get international support for breaking Israel's blocade against them.
Palestine has a 'government' but Isreal has them so crisscrossed with walls and borders and they cover every exit and entry point to each small community that they are cut off from each other and still at the mercy of Isreal's whims.
Watch Peace, Propaganda, and The Promised Land to begin to get an idea of the problems with Palestines supposed 'control' over Gaza.

In talking to my own people I hear refusal on all levels to look at it any differently than the media protrays. My passion for the Palestinians is considered anti-semetic.
In a modern economy, countries participate in global trade and hence become dependent on each other to some extent. You cannot abruptly isolate a country from global trade. What would Israel do if the 300,000+ bbl of oil they import were halted. What would the US do if the 13+ million barrels of oil they import were halted. Just like the American population as a whole can't be punished for their government, even if it employs war criminals or generally selfish and misguided people.
Where is the UN,where is the civilized of the westpeople (their government)? How can they allow this Genocide to occur?. It goes slowly so nobody can notice it.
The Bush Admin and Olmert know exactly what they are doing. It's their ppl, especially the majority in America that are to ignorant to notice. They don't read much you know. All they do is watch Fox and NBC. The only hope is the people who support candidates like Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel, and Ron Paul.
I'm a Ron Paul supporter..but since he is no longer in the race Ralph Nader looks to be a great option. But the Ron Paulites still are trying to make change inside the Republican party.
THey are frightened that with birth rates as they are, the palestinians will become the majority, I suppose they hope to move them on to another country.
