An absolutely astounding piece of video, quaint and timeeless, you could have almost thought you were back in the good old haydays until it came to the shot of a bunch of lads in hvv's by the road..I loved every second of this video..tanks for posting it..keep em coming..

Sorry, I coldn't resist the opportunity for one of my stupid jokes! The fish and chip owner was a bit taken aback when a dozen or more of us walked in at closing time. Alas many were still wearing their hi-viz jackets.

Very nice! Somehow, the "Earl" just doesn't look right on the "Bluebell".

probs because the bluebell is mainly southern with all the stock and stations, whereas the svr is a proper gwr branch

Its a very vintage loco one of very rare early GWR examples left.

It's not that old: 1936 I think. I have to admit the two component locos were much older than that!

Yep thats right. Bulldogs and Dukes are the older parts aren't they?
