He even wrote the album (bdt) with her, and i have a b-side album of avril's bdt songs and they sound more like her tomboy days. But they just happened to happen to get onto the original one :)

Well most artist write like 60 songs for an album, but only 15-20 make the album! The ones that didn't make it tend to become b-sides. A b-side is an additional song on a single! Its called a b-side cuz when singles were released on tapes/cassetes there was an A side and a B side. The single was on the A side and the additional or bonus song was on the B side! Hope that makes things clearer.

@thexsacrificed her new album is going to be just like let go and under my skin, i heard the songs! :D I think the only reason best damn thing was so different was becuase of derek whebly (ex-husband) trying to make her more feminin. He even wrote the album (bdt) with her, and i have a b-side album of avril's bdt songs and they sound more like her tomboy days. But they just happened to happen to get onto the original one :)

@bigleneee An artists writes about 40 songs to go on an album and their producers decide which ones that will go on the actual album and the songs that don't make it on the final album are called b-sides. The songs that make it are called A-sides :)

Well most artist write like 60 songs for an album, but only 15-20 make the album! The ones that didn't make it tend to become b-sides. A b-side is an additional song on a single! Its called a b-side cuz when singles were released on tapes/cassetes there was an A side and a B side. The single was on the A side and the additional or bonus song was on the B side! Hope that makes things clearer.
