Many people who want to marry aren't sure why. It's just "the next step" to them. This thinking needs to change. Now I'm not saying marriage is for everyone even if we did disect it. I think our overall expectations of what a marriage is and what is should be is conflicted. @RustArtRed women did not do it to themselves. Men helped. Suppose the laws would do a 180 degress turn in this country and, instead of the men, the women would get screwed over big from the judicial system after the divorce. Do you think woman would be as they are today? I think they would be more loyal, and respectful to the family knowing if they aren't, then they would suffer the same consequences men suffer today with child support, retroactive child support, alimony, etc.
Warren Colman has a great idea but targeting the wrong crowd. I think he should have written "How women can be a wife" not "Why nice guys shouldn't get married" that doesn't fix the problem it frustrates it. He even said what the root of the problem is at the end. So help fix the problem. Nice guys SHOULD get married because they give an example to others how a man should be in a marriage.

Feminism, what a great plan to ruin the American family, it worked. Men will be happily single with their money. And women will wonder where are the guys are. They can always move to China. Plenty of guys over there.
Bravo brother! You are absolutely right...most men, good or bad long to marry a virtuous woman...one they can have and create their on family with. This is something we want to be the only to share this experince with our wives. These woman now a days have 3 children by two different baby dadies. This is not the ideal situation indeed.
