Were ur dogs ears floppy when he was a puppy ??coz i have a 3 month old shep/lab mix and his ears r floppy and now sometimes they stand , how will i know if they will be standing ? I have a vid of him ..
i have a lab shepherd mix . he is all black looks to most people more like a lab however to the more knowing eye they see his stance and shape and say shepherd lab . he is a fun dog smart. he has much longer hair then yours does. . your dog looks nice

WHOA! So crazy. Our dogs look so much alike only mine is straight black with a small white line on her chest. I found her at my old job where I worked an hour out of houston, and brought her back to my parents house. Took her to the vet and they told us she was a lab/german shepherd mix Best decision I ever made. She's sweet and very protective.
@rawrpolla18 he is probably about 4 years now.... he has picked up quite a bit of weight since this video was taken. I will try to post an update video on him soon.
@jacobdorp ok, this video was taken about a week after we got him.... people were walking in and out of the backyard and the gate was open so i tied him to the fence for the time until everyone stopped going in and out of the backyard. We DO NOT tie him anymore to the fence since he is now trained to stay in the backyard when the gate is open.
@compdude957 I've got the same mix dog and he's a pig for food so I've had to watch how much he eats. I've been told that if hip dysplasia becomes an issue, weight on the rear area can exacerbate the problem.
He needs to go to the vet though. He is getting to an older age and he has a tumor in his chest. I wish the best of luck to him. He always wants to lay down just like your dog christo! And he loves his belly rubbed! and his name called! Beautiful dog. Very nice too, lets me pet him while he eats. Always happy.

labs are prone to putting on weight make him run loads and he will get ripped in no time, also get him swimming great mut cardio.
