The problem is with MP's of all member states. They want all of this eu federalism because it enhances their careers and their pay cheques, pensions etc, BUT the people do not. Every state should have had a referendum on the Lisbon treaty(constitution) but most were denied because their respective MP's denied them this knowing full well what the result would have been. So much for democracy (with a small d because it has been so devalued)

There are no plans for a European superstate.

There are no plans for a European Army.
