All she did was make it a bigger popularity contest, which seems to be the GOP tatic, saying Obama does it and doesn't talk about policy. . . well he does talk about policy, he doesn't just say I'll fix it, like the GOP would have you believe about any Dem. (personally I don't like either, but the Dems. are a lot more bareable and I actually like Obama) while that is all she said, being I'll fix it, and also she just made a personality outlet to make her popular for the contest.

I agree and we are one term away from another Great Depression. Republicans were in charge during those "great years" too. The economic divide widened. The wealthiest got wealthier on the backs of working Americans, the middle class eroded, and two primary industries dominated. This race should not be close. Sarah Palin had to change colleges 6 times in 6 years before she finally graduated. McCain was 5th from the bottom of his class in college and probably wouldn't have graduated from USNA if his father/grandfather hadn't been admirals. McCain voted AGAINST the new GI Bill; Obama voted FOR it so veterans returning from Iraq can get a decent college education. Veterans have to be either insane or VERY uninformed to support McCain in this election. When it comes to "supporting the troops," Republicans and McCain/Palin talk a good game, but when it comes time for them to put their money where their mouth is, they leave us high and dry. Get a clue instead of parroting your Master Obama. McCain believes that the promise of full college tuition upon discharge (you do not use the GI Bill until you get out) will prompt too many servicemembers to get out sooner than they would have otherwise.
Personally, I found the Montgomery G.I. Bill more than adequate to pay for my college education. No, it won't pay the tuition for a fancy ivy league school, but it certainly did pay for more than 100% of the college cost.

McCain does NOT "support the troops." You know what the most popular university is for military veterans? U. of Phoenix--ONLINE. Why? Because the Montgomerey GI Bill structure makes it hard for them to be able to do anything other than get an "online degree." Compare that to the GI Bill of 1944, when the $500 stipend meant a veteran could go whereever he wanted. Apparently 4 and 5 tours in Iraq aren't enough for McCain to feel servicemembers have "earned" a college education. VETERANS FOR OBAMA!

Even if she is qualified, she aparently doesn't watch the news. Just that morning, they had unquestionably debunked all of her talking points BEFORE she even made the speech.
In the past year, she's stood for half of the issues she's stands against today. She supported the "Bridge to Nowhere" before state congress denied it. She's taken millions of dollars in earmarked funds. She claims to be a rolemodel parent while parading her pregnant and handycapped kids around in front of the media.
